My car is pretty noisy on start up but once the oil starts working

Even later Nissan BELTS were good for almost that long. Chain should be good for over 300k miles unless something goes wrong. 105k is pretty much nothing to these motors. Valves will be lifted somewhere, and that's where it will go bad. Believe me, it's bad. Tons and tons and tons of engines are the same way and there are lots and lots of stories out there about people loosing engines to belt or chain failure.
