I love Acura, and really wanted to like the RDX but it just didn't give me a sense of luxury like the Infiniti did. haha!! i hear ya man...i really wanted the 2010 RDX with all the MY updates, i learned from buying a 04 3G TL that it's never worth buying the mk1 of each generation...SOO many problems.... too bad the '10 RDX would not budge on a good price...well not so bad, i love the ex, u will too!

The back of the passenger and driver seats came off, the A & B pillar covers came off, leather stitching started to unravel, the list goes on and on.

Well, I really wanted a hatchback for ease of cargo carrying, but if I was getting back into a sedan, I'd definitely have a close look at the new TSX, especially now that it's got AWD.I know many people hate Acura's "gladiator shield" front end, but it's growing on me. Cheers,David

I used to be a HONDA fun and the only Acura badge I had was the black 2000 Integra Type R. EVO and STI weren`t available at that time and the Eclipse GS-T /GSX were the only contender. That was the time when Eclipse were redesigned and dropped the turbo line up, so I decided to go with the Acura R. The handling is great but lacks the low end power even with JR supercharger.

I have owned four Acura vehicles and have always liked the product. They are extremely well built, very reliable, have many good features and drive better than the average vehicle. That being said, the designers at Honda have gone nuts lately with their designs, particularly with the front end beak. And the long time owners of Acura products are not happy with the designs based on everything that I have read online. Further, there is any increasing restlessness with Acura's insistence on front wheel drive designs. Acura has done about everything you can do within the limitations of FWD, and it is time to move on. In my case, I did move on to Infiniti. I've always really like the Infiniti products, but belive it is only in the past 3 or 4 years that Infiniti is beginning to mature their product lines. The performance has always been there, now the luxury and comfort issues are being addressed as well. I will always be fond of Acura, and may well own one again, but sure am happy with my EX!

another factor would be the lease rate on the ex right now vs everything else in it's market, or even in general. lease rates have literally sky rocketed for nearly all vehicles and only "specials" like the ex are still getting decent lease rates. we looked at a rsx as well and they wanted $5500 down and $650/month payments for a comparable model. if that can be true...much less hp for one.anyway, we got ours for $900 down and $477/month for a 15k 39 month lease with premium, nav, lux.

My last car was a 2004 TSX. I love my new EX. The tsx was fun, but the quality gap between honda and acura seems to be dwindling.Beside the MDX, (maybe the RDX, too) the rest of the lineup has gotten significantly uglier, especially the new grill, to the point where they seem cheap. I liked the last gen RL even if it didn't sell like gangbusters, and the SH-AWD is great. But infiniti's are just much more "upscale". Acura's really are starting to feel like tarted up hondas.

Guilty as charged. I owened and Acura RSX, traded it for a TSX, looked at a RDX and ended up buying the EX35. It certianly wasn't for the dealership or service department, who have all jerked me around from the beginning. I prefered Acura's service and sales departments, but I LOVE the EX35. I'd gladly buy another Acura if they made the car I wanted. Bottom line, I love my car, but hate the Infiniti experience.

I also frequent acurazine as well because I drive an acura TL. The ex 35 is the wife's car. My wife and myself noticed the difference between all the car dealerships we visited. But that could be attributed to how young we look, they don't take us seriously... It's happened many times now, but it's funny when we grill the car sales man on features of the car They then realize we're serious prospects.

Got my EX35 about 6 weeks ago (love my EX35)...and even though I come to this forum often...I still am active in Acurazine...the Acura forum. It seems like there are a lot of former Acura owners moving over to Infiniti. It's just not the cars...it's the dealerships and service, too. And it makes me wonder how many Infiniti owners have made the move to Acura. Is it just like the tide coming in and going out...or is Infiniti the hot brand, now
