heres my homemade poker table top. i didnt put any marks on it, because we never know how many people are playing. just wanted a nice padded table top (to cover a regular table or coffee table) that the cards would slide well on.

Thanks for the compliments! As far as cost goes, my table was very inexpensive to build...the most expensive part was the chips themselves. I already had a set of chips, but I wanted to get a set with the denominations on them and have more of a variety. Anyway, to answer your question:4' x 9' Quality red fabric - $124' x 9' Fake leather - $9Two 4' x 8' Plywood - $123' x 6' carpet padding - $3Cup holders - $2.99 eachTray for the dealer chips - $198 deck shoe - $18Discard holder - $56 Luxor Casino decks - $1 eachAcrylic paint - $4Locking Cash box mounted on bottom - $35Acrylic Cash paddle - $6Chrome cash paddle slot - $4A crap-load of staples and a staple gun.And the table base was pre-existing from an old dinette table I had. Overall, I would say around $200 or so. I would like to add more graphics to the fabric, but the table overall is a little less than 6' x 3' (inside the rails) so it might get too busy...I kind of like just the simple look right now. Thanks again for looking!

Got bored a couple of months ago and decided to try and build my own blackjack table for my basement game room. I didn't think it turned out too bad for my first one, and I got a lot of ideas from just doing searches online at blackjack and poker tables. I bought all of the supplies for the table online, and picked up the fabric, pad, and wood at my local fabric and home improvement store. I had to build the padded rail independent of the table itself and then attach it with screws from the bottom. I used white acrylic paint and masking tape to make the stencils for the diamonds where you place your bets. It's something fun to play during the crappy Winters we have up here in Northern Illinois, and I think I've gotten better at the game as a whole by playing several times a week on it. Anyway, here are some pics of the finished product:
