How may miles are you guys getting out of the RSA...assuming you keep them till they are worn..

I bought a 06 M35 with 51K miles.....has the RSA's with decent tread left. I am assuming that this is the second set on the car. They are lousy but i hate to spend $1K+ on new tires with so much tread left on the RSA. Ahha! That there is the problem, IMHO. Change this tire out when you can.

The RS-A a fundamentally mediocre tire. Yes, it is relatively quiet and yes, it has long tread wear, but just about everything else on this tire is pretty pathetic. Handling is poor - dry or wet - and the braking is poor. Prone to tramlining as well.

Of course, Goodyear makes another tire that is far superior - my current favorite - the Eagle F1 GS-D3. In a 245/45-18 100W size, it is the right tire for a 2003/4 M45 - in non-winter conditions.

It is really sad that Infiniti (along with a number of other car manufacturers) insists on using the RS-A as an OEM brand.

Nothing is bent. I had the dealer look at it last Tuesday. It's a Goodyear RS-A. It was on the car when i bought it last August. I've put about 10k miles on the car since then. Going to the dealer Tuesday for an oil consumption test(AGAIN) but don't really want to pay the $100 for the diagnostic. Would anyone know what it could possibly be.. Thanks in advance.
