hey, I just wanted to ask, does anyone know what the wattage is on that sub/amp I already have the wiring diagrams and whatnot (thanks to nametakennow) and I'm interested in replacing the sub directly or hooking up a sub with an amp of its own and bypassing the stock amp.I just don't have the time or money to replace the head unit and whatnot right now.

Odd. Make sure you didn't damage the connections when you ripped them out and double check your re-wiring job.Did you rip the wires out of the sub itself or the crossover next to itYou may also want to try the audio forum. We have some guys in there who know all about finicky Nissan/Infiniti audio.

hey, I did the exact same thing, were you able to resolve the issueI noticed that subwoofer was blown so i attempted to pull out the harness while the sub was still mounted and ended up ripping out the cables. I used the FSM wiring diagram to pop the cables back into the harness, but the radio still doesn't power up. Any suggestions

The rear sub is junk, so you're not missing anything by having it disconnected. It shouldn't have shut off the power to anything else.Check the wiring with the diagram in the FSM. You can get the FSM from the link in my signature.Welcome to NICO!

hi everyone. the wires for my 01 sentra rear subwoofer have been pulled out. the plug is left in the sub with the wires hanging loose. Of course this shut off all power to the radio (wires touched, i guess). i need to know which wires (6 or 7 of them), go into which hole in the connector. something like a factory pinout diagram. or, if that won't work, is there a way to bypass the woofer. daily driver, so i just want my radio back to normal. thank you for your help. dan.
