I would recommend an Alpine head unit of your choice and maybe some JL Audio C2's or C3's. If you want more volume than the head unit provides, then an amplifier would be advisable. Alpine has their new add-on amplifier that should be a big hit.... no wiring and simply plugs into the back of the radio.

This one fell through the cracks. A nice little 4 channel at a really good price would be the Alpine F300. I can do that one for $179 shipped. You could then do the JL Audio TR or VR coax front and rear. You will also need the amp wiring which I will throw in for free. You also have the option of doing some Boston Acoustic coax for a little lower price than the JL TR's.
