ooh!! much nicer looking, I feel bad about you cutting it up too It looks like there is some rust under spoiler, but that's pretty much a given. Hey, when you guys remove the front inner fender liners, can you collect all the attaching hardware (clips, plastic bolts, etc.) that attach to the liner, fender, and fenderwell? I want to reinstall liners on mine, but I do not have any of the attaching hardware. I'll send you $$ for them. Also, Can I get the windsheild washer fluid container, motor, and mounting brackets as well? More $$ for you And are you guys going to keep the stock overflow tank? This might turn into a F/S thread

actually it was 400 with no rust anywhere besides right in front of the rear wheels, non structural. It runs and drives nicely, and still has plenty of power. I kinda feel bad cutting it up....

the car cost 600, swapping over everything from the new car to this old one plus the parts we sold, puts the car back at 500 plus safety, which includes brakes tires and cage, so yeah 500 is reasonable.

We thought it was just an oil leak so we tightened up a few things and then went over to the dyno that is there to try and tune out some break up that we were having in the low RPM range. We figured out that we really had a bad head gasket but still managed to put down 260whp at 12 psi.

So the engine will be coming out for the winter to get refreshed (damn cometics gaskets) and will be back better than ever next year. We are also going to look at a new chassis today that should be a little straighter than the one we have now.

To add to that, the new car was purchased today, better condition all around and the fabrication on this one is going to take a bit more time, but it will be worth it.

Keep an eye out for a custom cage designed to fit giants....

So we finally made it down to VIR. We got some practice laps in which were nothing special as we were both learning the track. I was black flagged while I was out there because we were burning oil.

Well I think that we are actually going to be redoing a ton of stuff on the car in the next year or so. We will probalby end up with a lot of different stuff.

On that note I guess we can say that we are looking for a clean STRAIGHT shell to swap everything into if anyone wants to volounteer one.

OH YEAH LOL! It's been like a year ago I got those from you! Or something like early this year hehe...

Well I just installed them so have yet to drive hehe

I was gathering parts for a year and a half... finally putting all together now.. car is ALMOST ready... just waiting on coilovers and one piece driveshaft to come in the mail any time within this week to next two weeks... and hopefully by then car is fully back on road

My car is a long build just like yours... but I didn't take pix of my build unfortunately :-/ I took some pix from the shop the other day but they kind of suck... heh... and all pix are dark can't really see the bling as the arms are all 'stealth' black coated SPL arms.

Also if you were to make the dash look 'nice' (not necessary for track car lol but hey just a thought) you could smooth it out, overlay it with some suede or something and done done. I'd rock that even in a daily for the weight savings hehe.

Yeah, well that was the first run in the car, and on that track. IT wasn't too bad, This was our shakedown run, to make sure we worked all the bugs out, we have a small oil leak, and we need to tighten a few things down, but overall its running pretty good. We got a whole bunch of data logged from the ECU and Mark is going to tune accordingly this week. VIR will be the true test of how this car will behave in the long run.

Also for the brake cooling ducts you can use these and mount them into the turn light housing/area and you will get faster Air and swap the stock pop-up head lights cover for the sack(SP?) of aerodynamic

Yeah mostly in one peice, still have quite a few things to do but we have a few days left. Took it around the block a few times and pissed off some neighbors and made a few friends at the same time. She's seen 11psi now and runs good and strong.

Well Kevin and I got a crap ton of stuff done this weekend. So here's some pictures for you guys.

Nice hand made hot pipe. 1 piece from turbo to intercooler.

General engine bay picture. Still need to wire some of the sensors so that's the reason for the rats nest.
