actually no, boost is positive pressure above atmospheric, with large turbo's it is possible and likely for them not to create boost revving out of gear as there is no load to help them spool.

Hey guys, sorry about the lack of posts, not too much has happened with the car. Difting is expensive and I have no sponsors so building a drift car while maintaining a drift car is hard to do.

It is mainly the body work that has to be done now aswell as roll cage.

I got the exhaust done, it is straight dual 3' no mufflers or cats.

There will be 2 q45 MAF's going into an SAFCII and then into the stock ecu.
FOR NOW!! to get it running and shake it down. When my funds build back up I will go stand alone.

As for sensors: All stock sensors are still there except for the second ECU temp sensor and anlything to do with EGR or emisions.

Vacuum : There are 2 ports on each intake plenum under the throttle bodies.

Boost signal will come right off the compressor houseing.

IACV will function as stock, air is taken before throttle body into the IACV and then into a "Y" that splits into each intake plenum.

My wastegates should arrive Sat morn and I am going to try to start it after I put them on.

After 3 years my girlfriend has realized that as a car guy, I spend too much time working on cars and she has moved out. Yes this sucks but hey thats life. The good part about it is I have alot more time to work on cars. So thats what I have been doing. This week alone I have modified and bunged the oil pan, built the shifter linkage and bracket, finished welding up the engine mounts, built the altinator bracket, made the rad hoses and started on the rad/fan shroud.The engine could be ready to start theis weekend but i am waiting for the waste gates to come in. ok well on to a few pics ....more to come soon. So thats what I have been doing. I was layed off work in the spring so money got tight, I also moved my shop in the spring aswell. I have not had time to work on my project since I moved shop. It has been an amazingly busy summer with all the drift events and track days and moving in with my girlfriend etc.. I got third place in the CSCS championship points serries.But drift season is over so expect to see some more progress soon.
