The usual suspect is a fuel hose buried deep under the middle of the plenum. It connects to the fuel pressure regulator and leads to the hard line to the fuel filter. I had two leakers back there when I first bought my Q and eventually was able to get to them both. I gave up at first but kept going back with different tools. With the right tools you can get to the clamps you've given up on. Make sure to check for leaks with the engine cold as small leaks tend to slow down as the hoses heat and expand. As Jesda suggested, you may have to remove the IAC valve (adjacent to the right side of your circle) to get to all the clamps. Hopefully you've reached and tightened the right clamp(s) and the fuel odor will go away once the residual evaporates. Good luck. With the right tools you can get to the clamps you've given up on. It was a small vertical one in the area shown in the picture. I was only able to tighten the bottom part of hose. There is no way to reach the upper part. Its the vertical rubber hose with two metal clamps, right below the IAC. You -can- reach the screws with a small screwdriver if you move the throttle cables. Its a lot easier though to buy an IAC gasket and remove the IAC for cleaning while youre back there.
