In it's day, it would run away from anything like it that wasn't a newer Alfa Romeo.It was very honest car, very reliable, and the front discs, SOHC engine with twin carburetors, 5 speed, even the solid rear axle with drum brakes, made it a blast to drive or ride-in.I saw one the other day, and if it weren't going the other way, I would have flagged him down for a ride.My friend's sister wrecked that one. But it was the first Nissan experience for me. YuckThen I started to look at imports and have been hooked for the last 20 years.My first was a 260 z that I bought when I was 17 for $300.00 I fixed the starter and 3 ticking cam followers and beat the crap out of it till I sold it for $750.0 three months later.I would bet that a late model Nisson wouldn't take the same thrashing.Love old cars and you start to feel like you are doing some good.
