Removing old control arm bushings

Well, my truck is in pieces right now as I'm in the middle of replacing some front suspension parts over the weekend. I took the lower control arms off and dropped them off at a machine shop to get the new ball joints pressed in. I figured I might as well replace the bushings with energy bushings while I have them off. The manual I have says to take a hammer and socket to hammer the old bushings out. Nope, that's not gonna happen. I could burn them out, which is my last resort, or fabricate a big socket and a huge bolt with a nut and washers to pull it out with an impact gun. Has anyone replaced the lower control arm bushings and if so, how did you go about getting the old ones out

I now own a 96 2wd Reg Cab Hardbody. This one is gray and is somewhat ugly but nothing I can't straighten out. It has 138k and it's my winter transport ever since my Millenia failed me for the last time. I am having it towed to my house on Sunday, the tie rods are in pretty bad shape at the moment. I hope to have it in running order real soon. Sorry i don't have any pics of it yet...soon come. I got the title and the keys tonight.

Getting no injector pulse in my 89 d21 help!

Hey everybody, i have a 1989 nissan d21 4x4 3.0 and im getting no injector pulse. im getting solid fuel pressure and spark (fires great with starting fluid). unable to pull any codes from the truck because its been out of commision for quite some time. Very baffled at this situation. decided to check the harness condition its self and follow the wires for the injectors themselves back to the splice in the harness, and everything looked fine. i cant find anything anywhere about this situation, everything i find is on the fuel pump itself. Seeing that these have issues with the ECU i was wondering if it was that, but i cant imagine how it would be if everything else is working properly. anyways, any input on this situation would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

battery discharges after the truck is shut down

1986.5 Hardbody,vg30i, new napa alternator and starter and battery,at least once a week the battery will be almost dead. The alternator does charge when I start it up as long as I rev it up once to excite it.I have checked the cables and grounds good. Also I did replace the starter relay, it seems like there is something that intermittently drains the battery after the truck sets for a day or so. I would appreciate any help as this has been going on a long time.

whats the reson the speedo would have quit working and how would i fix it the tach and everything else still works.i have the enire interior of the truck gutted right now because im in the process of overhauling it. so now would be the best time for me to fix it. i can see that there is a wire that plugs into the back of the gauge cluster but how do i know for sure its the wire that is broke i would hate to buy a new wire install it and it still dosent work. please help if you know what i need to do. i have to have my truck inspected when its all done and i dont think it will pass with a broken speedo and the last thing i want do do is take it to a mechanic. oh and when the speedo quit i noticed the cruise control stopped working.

Any experts on the Hardbody charging system alternator charge light wire

OK....I am seriously losing my mind. My engine is the RB20DET, but I am trying to figure out the Hardbody wiring to make my alternator work. There are two screw-on connections: I have 12v and I have the GROUND. Then there is the plug with a big white wire and a small white/red wire (charge light on dash dropping resistor) They are different colors on the hardbody alt, iirc, so please just call them the big wire and the small charge light wire.I have the big white wire run to the battery also. With the small white/red wire detached, it doesn't charge. Detached, the small white/red measures .006v. When I attach the white/red to the battery, I instantly see the volt meter jump to 16v or so (CHARGING!!! I think). But then the engine stalls in a few seconds. It does that every time!!!!!I have been searching all day for the correct wire in the engine bay (from the truck's dashboard charge light system, which is a yellow/black wire behind the dash), and couldn't ever seem to make it work with the yellow/black wires I tried under the hood. every time it senses voltage given to the white/red wire, the engine stalls. Can anyone tell me what to do or if I can hotwire it some how and make it charge without stalling Or why it is stalling Thanks for ANY input!! --TJ

There has to be a solution....

ok. So my truck is still refusing to stay cranked or run at an approved idle. When she does stay cranked it sounds like 1 cylinder is firing and its running at about 150 rpm.... What I have replaced... Coils and Ignition modules... this will fix my previous problem of the rev limit... other "Fixes"... I have taken apart my Ecu in search of a short.. found what looked to be a damaged resister... replaced it with an appropriate .5 Ohm 2w resister. Still same results... Any thoughts I Have yet to check the Dizzy becuase i dont know where to begin with it...Please help!

question about d21 intake / emissions stuff

hey all,i am an owner of a 95 240sx and just bought a d21 for a daily driver. its a 94 4x4 ka24e 5spd. I have been doing the regular maintenance on it and like with the 240sx i want to rip out all the unneccessary emissions 'crap'. Is the egr stuff on the d21 the same as on the sohc 240 has anyone written a guide to 'clean up' the engine bay It looks like the intake also runs needlessly across to the driver side, i could just rip all the extra plastic out and have it breathe in the air from the front by the hood right (i know it would be warmer air, but for winter i won't care..) cheersMarko

C200 rear / R180 front, 4.375:1 gearingCA46 - found on Hardbodies and 4 banger Frontiers - C200 rear / R180 front, 4.625:1 gearsCA45 - found in 2003+ Frontier 4x4's. This is a C200/R180 combination with a new gear ratio - 4.5something:1 The C200 was upgraded to 31 splines on this model from the previous 29 spline unit.HG43 - Found on Pathfinders, V6 Hardbodies, and a few '99 Frontiers - H233B rear / R200 front, 4.375:1 gearing. On the 2000+ 33 spline axles, the HG43 has a 4.363 ratio, however this is not a common axle code on the later models.HG46 - found on auto equipped pathfinders, 96-97 hardody 4 bangers, many Xterras and Frontiers. This one has some variation. Pre-2000 versions are the H233B axle with 4.625:1 gearing (31 spline axles). 2000+ is the H233B axle with 4.636:1 gearing (33 spline axles). Typically comes with an R200 front axle, with the exception being in the '96-97 Hardbody pickups - those had an H233B / R180 combination. Axle shafts in the H233B were 31 spline up to about 2000, where they switched to 33 spline shafts. All Xterras and R50 Pathfinders received the 33 spline axles. In Frontiers, it can be a crapshoot if you have a '99-'00 model, though it is believed that the switchover was at or near 2/00 production date.HG49 - found in mid year 2001+ Frontiers and Xterras. H233B / R200 combo with 4.90:1 gears.Locker Selection:ARB lockers are available for the older 30 spline C200's and all H233b's. They're also avaialble for the R200 front, however no traction device is out there for the R180.Calmini LSD's will work in an R200 front. (A Calmini LSD is a slightly modified '87-89 Turbo 300ZX LSD)Lockrights will only work in the older 31 spline H233B.Detroit used to make a locker for the older 31 spline H233B, but those are getting scarce.Up to 4.875:1 gearing is available for C200's and R180's. Up to 5.143 gearing can be had for H233B's and R200's. AC and SLR are the two companies offering gears, or you may be able to get them through Nismo.Let's say you don't have the doorjamb sticker.H190 - small 3rd member type axle found in 2wd's only (excluding Desert Runners, Xterras, pathfinders)C200 - removable rear diff cover, 8 bolts. Found in all Nissans (yes, even a few early 2wd Pathfinders)H233B - large 3rd member type axle found in most V6 and a few 4 banger 4x4's, Desert Runners, and 2wd Pathy's and 2wd Xterra V6's.Other notes:The H233B 3rd member changed from 9 bolts to 11 studs to hold it to the housing beginning with the 1990 models. Somewhere along this time (maybe around 6/89, the bolts holding the ring gear to the carrier changed from 10mm to 12mm, making a difference in replacement gear sets. What do the numbers meanThe number in the axle model indicates the size of the ring gear in mm.R180 - 180mm ring gearH190 - 190mm ring gearC200 / R200 - 200mm ring gearH233B - 233mm ring gear (yes, that's about 9.25"!)How do I figure out my gear ratioPut a jack under the diff and get both wheels under the ground. Draw a chalk line on the tires where they would contact the ground. Rotate BOTH tires by hand at the same speed one exact revolution while counting revolutions of he driveshaft. Just under 4 1/2 turns will indicate the 4.375:1 gears. Just a bit over 4 1/2 turns would indicate 4.625:1 or 4.636:1 gearing. If you have a late model, just a tick under 5 turns of the DS would indicate 4.90 gears.LSD or openIf you lost the sticker, get that jack back under the diff. Turn a wheel with the truck in neutral. If the other wheel spins in the opposite direction, you have an open diff. If it spins in the same direction, you likely have some sort of traction device - probably an LSD.AND MORE STUFF (need to edit this later)FinalVehicle Transmission Drive GearType Type Model RatioRegular Cab Manual H190A 3.545King Cab Automatic H190A 3.700Regular Cab Manual H190A 3.889King Cab Automatic C200 4.3752000 XE/SE/LE Narrow Body Any 4.3632000 XE/SE/LE Wide Body Any 4.6362001 (All) Any 4.363As said in earlier posts...these are ALL live axles, so unless you really want to "keep it all nissan" Might as well use a Ford 9".I believe when people refer to using the Hardbody diff they're referring to the R200 FRONT DIFF (IFS) used in 4x4 hardbodies. This is why you can find R160's in scooby doos (and the R180's and R200's in later models) as scooby doo is owned by Fuji heavy industries. This means that most all Jap live axle vehicles (other than toyota) probably have very similar rear ends. (kind of like US vehicles that use Borg-warner and Dana axles, except for the General)There were bigger ones out there too, but good luck finding them.H260 and up...used in Nissan's medium and heavy vehicles.I think the only reason Nissan went with the dana44's in the Titan was because possibly it would have cost more to ship the H260's and H233's across the ocean, also possibly because of the 44's aftermarket, not because of any strength issues (as all who abuse R200's well know)Shoot forgot some of the datsuns with H190's, including the 710 sedan and wagon (coil spring), the 810 wagon (leaf spring), etc.Pretty neat that nissan would provide a 4-cyl. less then 100whp car with a 7.5" ring gear diff....These things are heavy, too.I put a 720 rear in the 510 wagon I used to own (it made it slow, the ratio was 3.42, stock was 3.90)It was at least 29 spline, was 55" wide and had 12x2" drum brakes on the back.I can't imagine what the H233b weighs.hope this helps.http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/...95215

Z24i ignition problems

ok so i have had a problem with my truck rev limiting at 2500 rpm.. and its been off and on... so i decided to replace the ignition coil... well when i got the truck home... i went back out to start her again and it cranked ran rough ~500 rpm and sounded like it was misfiring and would shut off... now it only cranks and dies right after. I have a ignition module on order for the intake side.. my understanding is it should be able to run off the exhaust side only right well its wont... when i turn the key it the motor tries to turn over but wont... Any hints

My Millenia is the biggest piece of garbage ever...EVER! $2000 worth of work this year and yesterday the engine decides to start making a horrible metallic noise at any speed under 2k RPM. I am done with it! I don't care if I still owe money on it or not...I am trading it before the money pit swallows me whole.I am looking at a 2000 Frontier SE-V6 4x4 King Cab. If I get my asking price for the Mazda then the deal will be sealed.Wish me luck! PS: Millenias are the worst cars ever built...stay away!

d21 wheel bearing replacement

hey all,i just bought my first nissan truck! I am a 5 year owner of a 95 240sx ka24det but since i just bought a house, i needed a truck and a dd, so a dark green 94 d21 4x4 with the ka24e and 5spd tranny fit the bill perfectly.anyways, the brakes on it were worn. in fact one pad was worn below 0.. it had chewed 2 mm into the brake rotor... silly previous owner.I am replacing the rotors on this, and as part of that job i had to remove the hub on the front and the wheel bearing. Now my question is, the fsm wants me to tighten the wheel bearing lock nut to 72 ft lbs (and then loosen it to 0). i need some sort of a pitch fork tool. is there a tool like this in local auto stores that you can get I am thinking of going to HD and building one.. lolcheers for input!Marko

89 Hardbody Auto Trans. Fluid

Anyone know what fluid is used in these trucks Its auto with overdrive. The resto is moving right along and I want to change the fluid before driving it much. Should I use only Nissan fluid or will aftermarket fluid suffice Some cars are finicky and only like the manufactures product where others don't make a difference at all. I'm replacing the filter and going to have the T-Tech total fluid replacement done. The T-Tech uses the transmissions pump to push the old fluid out while filling with new fluid. All opinions welcome, Thanks

Transmission Problems

Hi guys,I own a 2001 Frontier SC 4x4. The automatic transmission has issues engaging in reverse, first and second. Three and four won't engage at all. The gears that work will slip in and out of neutral, and on some occasions, will stall the engine unless I shift into park or neutral. I changed the transmission filter and had 2 brass washers come out of the filter. One was in good shape and the other had heavy wear on it Has anybody else had this issue I was thinking it may be the torque converter, but I don't want to start throwing parts at it. The washers want me to believe that it is more. Also,if this requires me to get a new transmission, I have been thinking of swapping in a manual. Has anybody had an experience with this type of modThanks for any posts back.TonyZ-wing

Gauge Failure!!

2000 nissan xterra 3.3L Non-supercharged has been very good to me. I love this truck. I can't say that it has ever gotten stuck, even w/ the wore-out tires I had on it.There has been a curse with this thing though. Every single winter, my gauges fail. I lose my fuel, temp, tach, speed, and odometer. When I first start up, things are fine. After the truck warms up, the gauges will just shut down. Everything will just click off. Short amount of time later- they will kick back on then shut down. It has never happened in the summer until this year.I have thought and thought about this problem and the only thing that I can come up with is the computer over heating. It is right under the vent for your feet, and in the winter is when the heat is on.Has anybody else has had this issue. A computer is pretty expensive and if I am going to get a comp, I am going to invest in a programable comp. Anyways, spinnin wheels... HELP PLZ!!!

My $500 parts truck ... now project

I bought this truck for the front clip, my son hit a cow with his. It turns out all this truck need to get back on the road was a water pump and radiator. It has many issues that should have been delt with throughout it's life that we are taking care of as we can.So far we have installed a new water pump, radiator, front rotors, pads, 1 caliper, windshield, pathfinder buckets (this is a must have item), intake air temp sensor, flushed the tranny, new fuel line and filter. With this one on the road we are now able to let the Vo-Tech work on his and have it done correctly.

KA24E setting timing after replacing broken timing chain

I have a Nissan XE pickup 4cyl 2wd. I had replaced timing chain, tensioner, and guides a month ago. Unfortunately, the tensioner was faulty and the chain broke! I've put new parts on and buttoned it up. My question is: How do you set the timing chain to the correct position when cam/crank have movedI've removed valve cover, set cams with #1 lobes facing out, pulled cam sprocket and chain, then gradually rotated crankshaft 1 to 2 teeth at a time. I've gotten truck to idle but it stalls under load when I try to move it.Each time, I place crank, rotor, piston to TDC, then adjust chain on cam +/- a tooth, then crank er up. Any pointers

2010 Nissan Titan Full-Size Pickup: New SE Value Truck Package Leads Changes....

10.26.20092010 Nissan Titan Full-Size Pickup: New SE Value Truck Package Leads Changes, Along With Standard Side Curtain Air Bags, VDC High-Value Full-size Titan Again Offers Rugged Utility, Innovative Bed System, Comfortable Interior and Standard 317-Horsepower 5.6-liter V8 The Nissan Titan full-size pickup, now in its seventh year as one of the true innovators in the full-size pickup segment, continues to enhance its already outstanding value credentials with the addition of standard safety equipment and a new SE Value Package option. The SE Value Truck Package offers cloth captains chairs, tow hitch, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, 8-way power-adjustable drivers seat, fog lights and more offered at a substantial savings versus if these items were purchased separately. Other value enhancements for the 2010 model year include the addition of side and curtain air bags, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) as standard equipment on all models. The 2010 Nissan Titan is offered in King Cab and Crew Cab body styles with a choice of 4x4 and 4x2 drive configurations, along with a Crew Cab SE Long Wheelbase model for even greater flexibility. Titan is once again available in four well-equipped models XE, SE, PRO-4X and LE. Titan is also available as a Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) designed to run on E85 Ethanol.Titan continues to build on its reputation as rugged, reliable, spirited choice for active truck buyers seeking style, innovation and now more than ever excellent value, said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, Inc. Titans distinctive design, coupled with a roomy, high-style, versatile interior and powerful performance make it a smart choice for everyday and every weekend use alike.Titan is built on Nissans rugged F-Alpha pickup platform, featuring a powerful 5.6-liter DOHC Endurance V8 rated at 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft torque. Titan features a standard 5-speed automatic transmission and a maximum towing capacity of up to 9,500 pounds for King Cab and 9,400 pounds for Crew Cab (when properly equipped).Along with the new SE Value Truck Package and added safety features, other revisions for 2010 include the addition of a new SE Utility Package; a receiver hitch, 7-pin wiring harness and trailer brake pre-wiring are now standard on PRO-4X and available as part of SE Value Truck Package (previously part of Max Utility Package); power-adjustable pedals are now part of SE Premium Utility Package; the SE Drivers Convenience Package and Max Utility Package are combined as new Premium Utility Package; Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System now comes standard on PRO-4X; the Rockford Fosgate audio is added to the previous Max Utility Package to create new Premium Utility Package; an Easy-Clean vinyl floor is added to King Cab XE models; and a new chrome PRO-4X badge added to PRO-4X tailgate. Two new exterior colors have also been added Blue Steel and Navy Blue.Titan again offers innovative features such as Wide-Open rear doors (King Cab) that open 168 degrees for nearly unlimited interior access, a utility bed that includes an segment-exclusive factory-applied spray-on bedliner, a Utili-track tie-down system that provides ultimate cargo hauling flexibility and an integrated, lockable bedside storage compartment.Though first and foremost designed for hard work and hard play, an array of technology and comfort features are available, including Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, XM Satellite Radio (XM subscription required, sold separately), Nissan Navigation system, Rockford Fosgate audio system, heated front seats, leather-appointed seats and DVD entertainment center.A Stylish Exterior and High Utility BedThe Titan exterior, which was refreshed just two years ago, continues to offer a distinctive, powerful front end and cab appearance along with an innovative utility bed. Titan King Cab offers a 138.9-inch wheelbase and 6-foot 6-inch bed, while the Titan Crew Cab features a 138.9-inch wheelbase and 5-foot 7-inch bed. The Crew Cab SE Long Wheelbase model features a 159.5-inch wheelbase and a 7-foot 3-inch bed, nearly 20 inches longer than the standard wheelbase Crew Cab bed and the longest in class. All Titans feature a 28-gallon fuel tank, providing an excellent driving range.Titan King Cab models also feature Wide-Open rear doors, which open 168 degrees for greatly improved rear cab access. Key to the doors design is a hefty, two-stage hinge with four axis of rotation. The doors open first to a conventional 85 degrees, then can be swung the rest of the way for easy loading and unloading of cargo or passengers.Titans available spray-on bedliner (standard on LE models) helps prevent scratch damage and corrosion to the bed and inner tailgate surface. Thinner than drop-in bedliners or typical aftermarket spray-on applications, the Titan bedliner also maximizes bed volume. It is the first offered by any original equipment manufacturer and still the only one available in segment. The SE Value Truck Package offers cloth captain’s chairs, tow hitch, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, fog lights and more – offered at a substantial savings versus if these items were purchased separately.
Titan is once again available in four well-equipped models – XE, SE, PRO-4X and LE. Titan is also available as a Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) designed to run on E85 Ethanol.
“Titan continues to build on its reputation as rugged, reliable, spirited choice for active truck buyers seeking style, innovation and – now more than ever – excellent value,” said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, Inc. “Titan’s distinctive design, coupled with a roomy, high-style, versatile interior and powerful performance make it a smart choice for everyday and every weekend use alike.”
Titan is built on Nissan’s rugged F-Alpha pickup platform, featuring a powerful 5.6-liter DOHC Endurance V8 rated at 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft torque. Titan features a standard 5-speed automatic transmission and a maximum towing capacity of up to 9,500 pounds for King Cab and 9,400 pounds for Crew Cab (when properly equipped).
Along with the new SE Value Truck Package and added safety features, other revisions for 2010 include the addition of a new SE Utility Package; a receiver hitch, 7-pin wiring harness and trailer brake pre-wiring are now standard on PRO-4X and available as part of SE Value Truck Package (previously part of Max Utility Package); power-adjustable pedals are now part of SE Premium Utility Package; the SE Driver’s Convenience Package and Max Utility Package are combined as new Premium Utility Package; Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System now comes standard on PRO-4X; the Rockford Fosgate audio is added to the previous Max Utility Package to create new Premium Utility Package; an Easy-Clean vinyl floor is added to King Cab XE models; and a new chrome “PRO-4X” badge added to PRO-4X tailgate. Two new exterior colors have also been added – Blue Steel and Navy Blue.
Titan again offers innovative features such as Wide-Open rear doors (King Cab) that open 168 degrees for nearly unlimited interior access, a utility bed that includes an segment-exclusive factory-applied spray-on bedliner, a Utili-track™ tie-down system that provides ultimate cargo hauling flexibility and an integrated, lockable bedside storage compartment.
Though first and foremost designed for hard work and hard play, an array of technology and comfort features are available, including Bluetooth? Hands-free Phone System, XM? Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately), Nissan Navigation system, Rockford Fosgate® audio system, heated front seats, leather-appointed seats and DVD entertainment center.
A Stylish Exterior and High Utility Bed
The Titan exterior, which was refreshed just two years ago, continues to offer a distinctive, powerful front end and cab appearance along with an innovative utility bed. All Titans feature a 28-gallon fuel tank, providing an excellent driving range.
Titan King Cab models also feature Wide-Open rear doors, which open 168 degrees for greatly improved rear cab access. Key to the door’s design is a hefty, two-stage hinge with four axis of rotation. The doors open first to a conventional 85 degrees, then can be swung the rest of the way for easy loading and unloading of cargo or passengers.
Titan’s available spray-on bedliner (standard on LE models) helps prevent scratch damage and corrosion to the bed and inner tailgate surface. Thinner than drop-in bedliners or typical aftermarket spray-on applications, the Titan bedliner also maximizes bed volume. It is the first offered by any original equipment manufacturer and still the only one available in segment. It is covered by the Nissan warranty.
Also available is the Utili-track™ tie-down channel system, with five special "C" cross-section rails that are mounted in the bed (two channels in the bed floor, and one each on the bed side rails and the bed header panel). Titan is the only truck to offer five channels. Removable utility cleats (rated at 200 pounds) slide into the channels, providing a wide range of attaching points for cargo tie-down.
My truck. Before and After work of my not so good bodywork. and some story

So I bought this truck with literally 1% of clutch plate life left. bought it for 500 bucks what do you expect.Drove about 30 minutes to get it. (drove my 240 out there) then i had a buddy of mine drive my car back while i drive the barely moving truck. So we get near my town and my buddy calls me (whos driving the 240) he sais "your car just shut off on me" so i drive back a bit to where he and my car are in the middle of the highway that we came back on. Tried to start it, nothing, pushed it over to the side of the road and i notice that its smoking out the back of the motor and coolants boiling out of the rad. So im thinkin "fudge monkeys."Parked the car (side of the highway), decided id deal with it the next day. So we hop in the truck and i ever so slowly let off the clutch while giving it s*** tons of gas and it gave a good pull then it just stopped and it wouldnt go. So theres when i found out that i have a wide variety of curse words in my vocabulary. SO long story short, i called the tow truck, he towed both my cars for a reasonable fee because he felt bad for my situation. I meen 2 cars and they both go out on the same hour. Okay now heres where i get to my truck. I replaced the clutch along with pilot bearing and all that jazz all by myself (16 year old). did alot of body work (bondo, i cant weld). anyways im blabbering, heres some before and after pics of the truck.beforeAFTER

Heated Morror Swap

Hey every one, hope all is going well! I have a 06 Xterra Offroad and it gets cold where live so I want to put heated mirrors in my truck. I know it was an option to get the X with heated mirrors so I figure the truck may be wired for them already... Does anyone know if the Xterras are pre-wired for heated mirrors The feature is linked with the rear defroster so I wonder if it requires another relay As always thanks for the Help!!!

1993 k24E engine knock and high idle

Could anybody help me figure out why my 1993 nissan 4wd pickup knocks at high rpm about the time you shift to the next gear. Could it be the timing chain or a rod The truck also idles high once it gets warm. when it is cold it idles fine. It could be related to the knock also the distributor is maxed out clockwise to get accurate timing.

Frontier Oil Pan

Hey guys, I don't come to this neck of the woods often. Anyhow, I'm putting a ka de into my 71 510, and I'm NOT going the route of cutting and flipping the cross member; just not going that route. I'm here, because I've heard that the frontier oil pan for the ka de is the best way to go, as far as modifying. It has the rear sump, rather than the front sump that the 240sx has. My engine is from a 240sx, so the sump is in the front, and thus my dilemma. If anyone happens to have an oil pan and pickup tube laying around, let me know, because I have need of it. Thanks!
