Now for the bad, I was sideswiped in the rain; it was not reported to my insurance company because it was a 50/50 fault so the guy and I agreed we'd go in on halves but I just took care of his so it wouldn't come back up. My rear bumper does have a patch of paint missing on the passenger side, the lower half of my quarter panel (narrower piece) has been pushed in slightly as well as the door about 7 inches under the door handle and it goes maybe 7 inches across the door. The repair cost are $700.00 for my vehicle, and that is a quote from a friend who is also on the forum and who works at a Honda Dealership as a Lead Painter. I will have pictures up shortly, but what makes it look worse are the surface scratches/scuffs the other car left on mine; the damage wouldn't look so bad if paint wasn't missing off my bumper and there weren't any scuffs. The interior is mint, just a little tiny bit of surface wear on the drivers bolster; just needs some dye because it hasn't even worn through.

Other than that, the car gets way more attention than a puppy, the car is fresh and soft top is fresh just needs to have the window cleaned, just a few little dings that I have gotten a price for to have removed (paintless) and it's $150. I love the car, and I love the way it handles but if the price is right or trade offer is good; then I will proceed and take it.

I will be doing little things to the car, maintenance and maybe more modifications as time goes along if it doesn't sell and I will be updating this with what I do; I'm not even pressed to sell it, nor do I really want to but I'd love to have a little more room.

Up for sale is my 2005 Black on Black G35 6MT coupe.

Chassis has 81,XXX miles on it
Engine has less than 40,000 miles on it (Replaced under warranty).
This is a rare color/package combination. Yes, I know everybody says that, but it's true. Finding a 2005 Black on Black with Manual transmission and no spoiler is pretty difficult.

Just a quick note: Why buy this G35 instead of another one? Mainly because you're dealing with an honest seller who will give you every detail about the car including anything that might need to be done to it in the near future. You won't get that from many people as their sole purpose is to unload a money pit on you and never talk to you again. I on the other hand, am happy to answer any questions including general ones about the G35.

Upgrade/Modifications:

Recently installed Stoptech Slotted Rotors (Rears installed, Fronts going in this weekend)

RPS Cyn-R-G Flywheel - Never have to replace the flywheel again. It has inexpensive friction pucks that bolt on.

Modified lower intake plenum (I still have the original, if you'd like to return it to stock).
Light Tinting
Window Roll-up module- This allows the windows to be rolled up with the key remote (From the factory, they only roll down with the remote, but not back up).

This car has not been abused or raced out. The only "racing" that I've done is the typical OC stop light challenge lol. Also took it to one drift day about a year or so ago. Fluids, engine, clutch, brakes, tires have all been changed since.

Condition of Car-

I try to be EXTREMELY honest when I sell cars. I hope that my honesty will be contagious and I'll receive the same honesty when I buy a car...

Body- There is a dent in the driver's side door. I bought the car with this and did what I could to fix it.
There is a small blemish on the rear bumper. Looks like somebody backed up into the previous owner. Again, I did what I could to make it less noticeable.
There are 3-4 very very light dents in the body. They are very superficial and can easily be removed by a PDR specialist if it bothers you.
The car came with a front lip and splash guards. I wasn't too fond of them, so I removed them. They come with the car.

Engine-The VQ35DE engine has been on Wards 10 best for the past few years. There are a few variations to this engine depending on which car and which year you get. The VQ35DE in the 2005+ 6 speed Manual G35 and 350Z is the highest output engine of them all. The trade off is that they drink most oil like Kool-Aid. The first engine in this G35 was replaced for excess oil consumption (meaning it drank more than 1 quart per 1000 miles). The new engine is doing much better. ESPECIALLY if you get your oil changed at the dealership as their blend seems to stay stable in the engine much longer. I recommend dealer oil changes because for $35 you get an oil change, your car vacuumed, and the exterior washed. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

Transmission- The factory clutch and flywheel have to be serviced together. The flywheel is not designed to be resurfaced because of it's design. As a results, a typical clutch/flywheel change will cost around $2300-$2600. NOT FUN. So, I opted to go aftermarket. The flywheel in this G35 has replaceable friction pucks. These go for under $100. A replacement clutch disc is $300 or so. When you add in labor, you MIGHT get to $800, but can probably get it done for less. So, there's $1500-$1800 in savings.

Why I'm selling the car...- I fell in love with the G35 when it first debuted back in 2003. At the time, I was still in High School and was FAR FAR away from driving a $35k luxury sports coupe. A few years later, I found myself in the position to buy one, and I did. I've owned the car since New Year's Eve 2007. The car is beautiful, fast, and generally fun to drive. Since, I bought the car, I've welcomed a new addition to the family. Despite having 2 back seats, the G35 is not designed for a large person like myself to get in to buckle and un-buckle my son in his car seat. His "Gear" also happens to take just about any cargo space in the car. As such, it's time to go back to a sedan.

If you have kids, this is my suggestion. The G35 coupe can be fine if you have children that can get in and out of their carseat on their own. Having a baby in a rear facing carseat is not a problem either. The real issue is that transition time between infant and fully functional toddler.

A last note: I am a car enthusiast. I've spent the past 2 years, studying, modifying, fixing, and helping others with their G35s. If you have any questions about the car including what changes can be done, I'm very happy to answer those questions. So far, the car has been very reliable. The biggest issues was the passenger side window failing out of the blue. I recently took it apart and found that 3 screws that hold the motor in place came loose over time. Tightened them up, and everything works perfectly.

Have tan front seats with airbags, black rear bench seat, black door panels, window regulators and glass, sunroof, pass side airbag, steering column, fuel tank, fuel pump and sending unit, complete exhaust, extra rear subframe. Will clip front and rear of chassis, or remove any panels for body replacement. Also have fitted car cover with bag, like new, only used for 3 months indoor heated storage on this car.

Up for sale is a 1990 Infiniti Q45. 176,389 miles. Car drove great till recently when I noticed a loud engine knocking noise, I took it to a shop and i've since been informed it needs a new engine. It has a rebuilt transmission with approx 130 on it. Relatively new altenator, and water pump. The body is in great shape except the rear passenger side has some paint flaking, rust, and a dent, by the front emblem there is some paint flaking too. The front right headlight is also loose and it does leak power steering fluid, but very slowly. It has no other known running problems. Interior is good except some marks in the rear driver's side seat. The glovebox also doesn't close. The ignition key cylinder wore out awhile back, but i got a new one off ebay, I just never had time to install it, so the ignition is still naked. Please make me an offer on it. I live in Northern Michigan right by Traverse City. Pickup only....car will probably only make it a mile. Plz ask any questions and more pics can be posted upon request. Marks on hood in pic are actually leaves.

Hello, the j30 is up for sale, has 150k on it, runs fine, no leaks. automatic, power options although seems like the front two windows are off track or something. seats are in bad condition, settable but torn could use new seats. With every pre-owned car, there is good and there is bad. The interior is a 9.8 out of 10. The bad is that this car has a salvage-repaired (inspected) title. This car does have a story, and the story goes like this;

In June 2009, a dealership in Illinois sold this car to a police officer. 6 days later, during a storm which brought heavy rain, the owner was driving through a deep puddle. Some water found its way into the engine's air intake duct and entered the engine, which bent one of the connecting rods which cause a slight rod knocking noise. The owner's insurance company opted to pay out a total-loss on the vehicle and brand it as a salvage (flood) vehicle.

We, the current owners, purchased this vehicle in August and sourced a used motor from a reputable salvage yard. There were 57,755 miles on the vehicle when we purchased it and replaced the motor. The used engine had a car-fax reported 60,xxx miles two months prior to the donor vehicle being reported in a total loss type of accident. The vehicle you are viewing now has 59,8xx miles on it and there is not one hint of any problems. This vehicle was safety inspected by the Wisconsin State Patrol and comes with paperwork verifying that the vehicle passed such inspection.

Don't let the salvage-repaired title scare you. Although this technically is a flood damaged vehicle, not one drop of water ever entered any part of the vehicle's interior, nor did any water reach any part of the car that wasn't supposed to get wet. I can say this with confidence because the dealership who sold this car to the police officer in Illinois is the same dealership that inspected and reported the damage to the owner's insurance company when the engine started knocking after the rain storm. This dealership can be contacted to verify the extent of the damage to this vehicle pertaining to the so-called "flood" damage.

Blue-book value on a vehicle like this with a clean title is between 28,000 and $31,000 with a "certified used" value of $34,000. We are asking $22,400, but will entertain offers. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. We will answer any and all questions.

I need to part ways with my G35. I have had it for a little over a year and it has been used for daily driving. It has 62,6xx miles on it. It has the nav. package, Bose sound system and brembos. The CD player malfunctioned recently, Infiniti charges $500 to replace the unit or you can spend less for a MP3 player like i do and just use that. NO molestation to it whatsoever though, i baby this car, i will put it to you like this... if i am driving it on the highway i am the guy in front of you going too slow that pisses you off.

I just put on new Nankang tires 225/40/18 fronts and 245/40/18 rears they have about 1500 miles on them. Oil and filter changed every 3k miles with Mobil 1 10w 30 synthetic. Transmission fluid and diff fluid was changed at 59k mile mark. This car has given me no troulbe whatsoever, i love this car but its just not practical anymore, i have a 7 month old son plus having a car payment for a car i just use to drive to work in just isn't something i like anymore. I owe more than what i am asking so i can taking a hit in the pockets but i need to get rid of it, if you dont believe me i will show a loan statement. I will post more pictures tomorrow of the interior, its dark outside right now. No low ball offers and no i wont take a trade because it needs paid off. Keep negative comments to yourself. Thanks.

Hi there. It is time for me to part with my Q45 of 41/2 yrs. I bought the car from the second owner @ 78k miles and have all service records since new. It currently has 128K miles. The car is in good condition but does show some of the normal Q traits of that year. The leather drivers seat is torn, but the rest are in good shape. There are some clear peeling on the hood/trunk but thats it. The only spot of rust is a paint bubble on the LR corner right behind the door in the quarter panel. The car is under coated. I have personally changed the guides, and have done lots and lots of work to it. Mechanically it runs awesome & drives well. It does need new struts but i have already purchased new California Custom springs that i'll throw in. This car is a great start for someone that wants to take it over and have a great Q. It has custom 17" wheels/tire in great shape. I also have extra parts that go with (active fr & rear swaybars, etc.). I'm asking $3300. OK here we go AGAIN! $500 EACH, READ THE WHOLE AD PLEASE!

I have TWO Q45s, One 92 (green 180k title in hand) and a 93 (silver, 34k orig miles no title, though getting a title in Va isnt hard)

If you want to make the silver on the road, you will need the green one.....

Now that all of that mess in out of the way. I purchased the silver 93 from a gentleman that purchased from another person..... basically, it was a stolen recovery over 10 years ago. They stole the steering column (already replaced with another) pryed on the hood and trunk (hood and 1/4 have damage). The interior is rediculous. Also while it was at the salvage yard, the AC compressor, PS pump and a few other small items were removed, hense the reason the Green 92 is important. I do NOT have a title on the silver one, but getting a abandonment title is not hard here in Va, it takes 30 days basically.....

The 92 is complete, but old..... IT was rear ended and both 1/4 panels have damage, including the rear bumper. The truck was replaced with another green with spoiler. It does drive etc. But after being in storage for 2 years has developed a miss..... prob bad gas or something to that matter (tune-up, coil etc). The interior is crap, it has 16 inch chrome wheels with tires that leak..... its purely a parts car in my eyes.

I am helping a friend sell this car, Ive done all the work on it so Ive got a pretty good idea on whats going on. Mileage is about 150k.. Car is located in Grand Rapids, MI

The long and short: The car runs great, and is capable of driving anywhere you'd want to go. Exterior is very clean besides 2 rust spots on the rear quarter panels (Typical)... Interior is nice except for a couple tears on the drivers seat.

the good:

- all 9 accumulators replaced (active is good as new basically except as noted below)
- Full plenum job done (8 new injectors, hoses, KS, etc)
- guides done
- Z32 brakes (aluminum 30mm calipers, new pads/rotors)
- M35 wheels with newish 245-45-18 tires
- Aftermarket stereo with Ipod integration
- New tranny mount
- new belts

The bad:
- Leaks active suspension fluid from drivers rear accumulator. I think its a simple fix (does not appear to be leaking from the actuator), just has never been done. Let me reiterate that ive driven this car and when the active fluid is 100% full, the active works 100%.. truly an amazing car.
- Leaks some oil from front cover
- Trans is starting to get weak, 2-3 shift is slow when cold, but should have quite a few miles left in it
- AC is not working, however a new compressor is included. I think theres some sort of blockage in the system, refrigerant would not flow.

Basically, most of the expensive mechanical stuff has been done, and outside of the rust its a very very clean car to look at... It would be a shame to see this car parted out with a fully functioning active suspenison..

Gold with beige leather interior. Not a sport package. Has just the basics...which is a heck of a lot more than I'm used to.

Untouched as far as any type of modification....well, that's a lie. My uncle tried to modify the front bumper with a trailer hitch - on the passenger side. It has a very small puncture and a little bit of scuffing. The paint has spider webbed a little in that area as well.

Other than that "modification" the car is clean and proper. Just rolled 70K on the clock and sits on BS Potenza's with 90% life left. No tint.

Regularly maintained, uses Quakerstate 10W30 HP every 3000 miles, always 93 octane.

Has usual fuel level issue - just have no time to leave it at a dealer.

I love the car, but at 6'4" my knees and console ferring don't get along. Time for another F350.

I love this truck, I've been daily driving it for a little while now but I need to buy a motorcycle so it has to go! It has 76k miles which is really low for a truck that's 8yrs old. It's missing the left front door side molding which comes from the factory painted for approx. $300 & if you wanted it to be cosmetically perfect, it also needs the bottom half of the front bumper replaced which will run about $700 painted. I had absolutely no reason to replace either of these parts because I just didn't care. The truck runs absolutely beautifully, I've never had a problem w/ her! If I could afford to keep the truck & get a bike I would..It has factory HID head lights, the interior is immaculate. For sale is a 1997 q45. Car is in excellent shape. This car is a great Daily Driver or weekend luxury car. This car has been well maintained and drives very nice.

im selling a 92 q for $1000 obo. has about 194,000 miles on the dial and the car is in great shape. Only problem is that the tranny died on me the other day and i cant have it sitting around too long. engine runs perfect, had a recent tuneup done on the car. This car would run perfect again if it had a new transmission. Also motor is not original, it has been replaced a year ago with an engine from a low millage 94. Alright, I am going to keep this short and to the point.
This is a 1993 J30t with 104 thousand miles on it to which I have a clear blue title in my name.

The body is very straight although the paint has faded clear coat on the top of the car. The tires are brand new with ZERO miles on them. The interior is a little worn in the usual spots, but otherwise fairly clean. The car runs and drives but needs some mechanical attention as it idles a little rough and there is a coolant leak.

It has A/C but the stock stereo unit does not work. I am really just looking to get rid of this, as I no longer have time for it. It would make a great car for someone who knows their way around a J30.

93 Q45 Needs a new home

I have a 1993 Q45. It is white with black leather interior.
It has around 93k miles.

A little about this car:
I have had this car from 2005 till now. I got it with 72K miles and it now has approx 93k.
The interior is in amazing condition, no rips or tears in the leather.
Windows, radio (except cd player), sunroof, power seat, etc... all electronics work.
New rack and pinion installed 2 years ago.
I have been using Mobile 1 synthetic with 3k oil changes regularly.

I'm going to be up front and tell you what the car needs and what to expect:
4 new tires (not immediately, but soon)
Spark plugs (Never been changed to my knowledge)
Brake pad worn error is displayed but the brake pads are all fine. (Faulty sensor)
The stock CD player/changer just stopped working a month ago, it is still in the trunk of the car.
It has a small power steering fluid leak, its from a tubing that can be easily changed.
I had gotten in a small fender bender in 06, and I had to replace the hood. It is a different color but there are no issues with the car because of it.
The paint is scratch up on one side from some car parking too close to be.

I'm trying to be as up front with the car as possible. The car runs and handles really well, I know it has a lot of life left in it. It is still very impressive interior wise. I would keep it but I just got an I35 which is much better on gas and I cant afford 2 cars.

Up for sale is my 2008 EX35 Journey AWD, which I purchased as new in January of this year. It's still in showroom condition, inside and out, with only about 10k miles on it. Platinum Graphite exterior with Graphite leather/wood trimmed interior, FULLY LOADED /w Technology, Premium, Luxe & Nav Packages. I'm a nonsmoker and the only one who has driven it. I've kept it in perfect condition without a scratch on it, & still has the new car smell! Even the shift knob is prestine without a scratch. Clean carfax, no accidents, perfect rims.

It is very difficult to find a used Infiniti EX35 on the market that includes the technology package. So this is a rare find and you can get for about $10k less here over buying new.

This EX35 is fully loaded with the All-Around Camera, adaptive cruise, lane departure assist/warning, auto on-off adaptive xenon headlights, touch screen voice-activated navigation with 12gb musicbox harddrive, leather interior, push-button start, keyless entry etc. There are even buttons to pull up/down the back seats automatically for more storage area.

Four year/60k mile bumper-to-bumper manufacturers warranty starting 01/28/2009 with free roadside assistance.

3M film is on the bumper, mirrors, door handles and below the hatchback door. A moonroof visor, roof crossbars (removable) and a hood bug deflector (removable) are also installed.

It also includes 7yr Protection Packages consisting of Exterior, Interior /w leather add-on, and CrystalFusion on windshield. If your windshield ever cracks or your leather seat accidently gets torn, it gets replaced for free. These packages cost over $1600 at the dealer and are fully transferable to new owners.

My FIL asked me if I could sell the J30t as he has barely even driven it in the last 8 or 9 months. He drives it some but mostly just sits in his carport. He's getting ready to move and doesn't want to deal with 2 vehicles. He lives by himself.

I asked him the mileage and he didn't know. He said he really hadn't put much on it. I gave it to him at about 212k mile iirc so it has somewhere in that neighborhood.

This is a rust free Mississippi car. Runs and looks great. Good tires, recently replaced one of the injectors.

This car needs some minor work under the hood, I replace all the spark plugs, sonic clean the injectors (had to take them out of the fuel rail and then cleaned), replaced the both knocksensors and the y-pipe above the knocksensor (nissan/infiniti guys knows what im talking about)..... now the #2 injector would prolly needs tobe replace since thats the code i am giving and im assuming this cause the the #2 injector is a different color towards the other injectors... its a dark green exterior with a flawless tan interior (pics will explain) it has 4 new insignia se200 ws p205/70r15 that was put on at 155k the car seats at 156??? the car isn't worth much but with all the maintenance and parts that i have replaced (more then i had listed), asking $1100 obo

The following is a brief tutorial on how to protect yourself from fraudulent sellers. It is not comprehensive, but it is a good start. Please use caution when dealing with people that you do not know on the internet.

For Buyers: Give seller 2 days to provide tracking number, and pay only to verified seller. Use PayPal! Ask for pictures of the item to be taken with a custom sign.

For Sellers: Make sure you are PREPARED to sell and ship immediately. NICOclub DOES NOT tolerate scammers, and the Management cooperates with all inquiries for information from both buyers and authorities. Okay, here is what I would do:

First, as a general rule for dealings on the Internet, keep copies of EVERYTHING- emails, PayPal receipts, money order stubs, everything! Second, be aware that steps 1 and 2 can involve a lot of back and forth between them, depending on the method of payment.

STEP 1.
Inform the Financial Institutions and websites involved.

If you paid by money order place a complaint AND a trace on the money order with the company that sold it (western union, USPS, etc.). Make sure it was cashed. Find out WHERE it was cashed. The same goes for a check, whether issued by a bank or a personal check.

If you paid by PayPal, go to the PayPal website at http://www.paypal.com and look for the complaint process. PayPal Buyer Complaint Info Page.
Next, Review the Buyer Complaint Process and fill out a "Buyer Complaint Form" through the Security Center. If you are logged in on the PayPal site, it may take you to a different site than these links. You must be logged in to fill out the form.

If it was on eBay or another auction site, look for the "Safe Harbor" clause or provisions in the user agreement. Try the "help" icons and search for "fraud" or "safe harbor" in the FAQs or Help sections.

Most other auction sites have similar policies. I use eBay as an example because I, like many of you, use it frequently.

Most forums are like this one: Buyer Beware. While you may get moderator assistance to get IP information, login frequency, and other contact info, in most cases nothing can be done.

One other thing to look into is the fact that eBay and PayPal are now one company. While before they would play one off of the other as to whose responsibility it was, they can no longer do that safely, as statements of one could be used against the other. This should, at least in theory, cut down on passing of the buck between the two, a common thing in the past.

Your bank or credit card can also be a powerful ally. While not necessarily bound to help you if you used PayPal, most of the time the fraud protection issued by your credit card company can help get to the root of a problem. Remember, you credit card can even file a complaint with PayPal if PayPal won't do anything to help you, because, as far as the credit card is concerned, PayPal took your money. THey don't care what PayPal did with it, they just know that it was PayPal that billed you. Your bank can do the same. Your bank will be more likely to give you personal service, but your credit card company has more clout. Use both to your advantage.

If you paid by check, or money order issued by the bank, or by bank card (ATM/Debit Card) directly, the bank should get involved. My PayPal account ACCEPTS Credit/Debit cards. If someone were to pay me that way directly (not through "PayPal" funds), their bank or credit card company could come after me directly (if I tried to shank them). I have helped people get money back through PayPal this way.

STEP 2.
Inform the Authorities.

If you sent payment in any form, whether check, Money Order (Postal or other), cashier�s check, or cash (NEVER SEND CASH!!!) through the mail, file a complaint at your local post office. Here is a link to the mail fraud reporting form:

It is a federal crime (mail fraud), so they should know the drill. Get the manager of your local post office to give you the name of the post office that is local to the recipient (where HIS/HER mail gets routed through prior to delivery). Here is a link to the USPS web site. It has a "finder" feature to locate post offices anywhere, including contact information:

Call the endpoint post office and file a claim. Call the local police or sheriffs office and file a criminal complaint using the information from the postal complaint form. Local police numbers can be found through most Internet directories. I have found that http://www.anywho.com works the best for me. Most of the time, the post office can even give you that information. If not, your local police can do so.

STEP 3.
Involve the BIG DOGS.

Your next step is to go to the Internet Fraud Complaint Center website. The IFCC is located in my old hometown of Morgantown, WV (Go Mountaineers!!!).
IFCC is a joint venture between the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) that is designed to cross the jurisdictional restrictions that internet commerce presents. They have broad jurisdiction AND enlist the assistance of local law enforcement to track down frauds and scams that are performed using the Internet as a media.

On the left hand side is the fraud complaint process and the forms. They require copies of past correspondence and documentation, and will use this information to CRIMINALLY prosecute violators. This does not help you directly, as your claim will be civil (not criminal), but this makes it easier for you to recover your money, because restitution is often a component of sentencing in fraud cases.

These guys don't fool around. They jail people. They seize things, close accounts, freeze assets. They get the job done.

An additional resource for information related to the use of more formal complaint procedures is the National Fraud Information Center. I have posted some of their tips at the very bottom of this post. Check them out for a better idea of what to look for on the 'net.

EDIT: ADDITIONAL RESOURCES FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS-
If you attend a college or university, most have an office of legal services or something similar. I used to work for the one at West Virginia University when I was in grad school. Basically, we did everything that a normal law office does, including dealing with these matters. I was the one who dealt with Internet fraud, which is why I know what I know. I would find people and figure out how to serve them (in the legal sense), follow up with local law enforcement, and deal with banks, eBay, PayPal, whoever, all on the behalf of the students. We did free representation, and most universities offer this service to students. In know that a lot of schools do this, because when the scammer or @$$hole that screwed one of my clients over was a student somewhere else, I would usually just call the university and talk to their legal services department. I was surprised to see that most universities have either an office like where I worked OR had lawyers that volunteered to help on certain days of the week. This is an option for you guys to check out if you are in college.

Try the directory for entries of Legal Services, Legal Aid, Student Legal Aid, Student Legal Services, Student Counsel (not Council), or even try calling the law school (if your school has one). Know who you�re dealing with. If the seller or charity is unfamiliar, check with your state or local consumer protection agency and the Better Business Bureau. Some Web sites have feedback forums, which can provide useful information about other people�s experiences with particular sellers. Get the physical address and phone number in case there is a problem later.

Look for information about how complaints are handled. It can be difficult to resolve complaints, especially if the seller or charity is located in another country. Look on the Web site for information about programs the company or organization participates in that require it to meet standards for reliability and help to handle disputes.

Be aware that no complaints is no guarantee. Fraudulent operators open and close quickly, so the fact that no one has made a complaint yet doesn�t meant that the seller or charity is legitimate. You still need to look for other danger signs of fraud.

Don�t believe promises of easy money. If someone claims that you can earn money with little or no work, get a loan or credit card even if you have bad credit, or make money on an investment with little or no risk, it�s probably a scam.

Understand the offer. A legitimate seller will give you all the details about the products or services, the total price, the delivery time, the refund and cancellation policies, and the terms of any warranty. Resist pressure. Legitimate companies and charities will be happy to give you time to make a decision. It�s probably a scam if they demand that you act immediately or won�t take �No� for an answer.

Think twice before entering contests operated by unfamiliar companies. Fraudulent marketers sometimes use contest entry forms to identify potential victims.

Be cautious about unsolicited emails. They are often fraudulent. If you are familiar with the company or charity that sent you the email and you don�t want to receive further messages, send a reply asking to be removed from the email list. However, responding to unknown senders may simply verify that yours is a working email address and result in even more unwanted messages from strangers. The best approach may simply be to delete the email.

Beware of imposters. Someone might send you an email pretending to be connected with a business or charity, or create a Web site that looks just like that of a well-known company or charitable organization. If you�re not sure that you�re dealing with the real thing, find another way to contact the legitimate business or charity and ask.

Guard your personal information. Don�t provide your credit card or bank account number unless you are actually paying for something. Your social security number should not be necessary unless you are applying for credit. Be especially suspicious if someone claiming to be from a company with whom you have an account asks for information that the business already has.

Beware of �dangerous downloads.� In downloading programs to see pictures, hear music, play games, etc., you could download a virus that wipes out your computer files or connects your modem to a foreign telephone number, resulting in expensive phone charges. Only download programs from Web sites you know and trust. Read all user agreements carefully.

Pay the safest way. Credit cards are the safest way to pay for online purchases because you can dispute the charges if you never get the goods or services or the offer was misrepresented. Federal law limits your liability to $50 if someone makes unauthorized charges to your account, and most credit card issuers will remove them completely if you report the problem promptly. There are new technologies, such as �substitute� credit card numbers and password programs, that can offer extra measures of protection from someone else using your credit card. I've compiled a pretty good rough outline. It is most effective when used prior to initial contact in order to offer you the most protection. After that, the rest is pretty cut and dry. The biggest hurdle will be production of acceptable evidence for a warrant to be issued. Be sure to
give me feedback on the contents and results.

Here it is:

Covering your own rear in an internet/ long distance transaction is vital. When answering an ad, get all information that you can about the seller. Be sure to read the instructions completely before acting in any way. The info that you need is as follows:

1. HOME phone number. It is easy to reverse trace, where a cell number is not. If you get a cell number, casually bring up the conversation of cell service. Is theirs good, what package and carrier? record and save the information both of home and cell.

2. Get the seller's street address and mailing address if different. (ask if it is the same). Record and save the information.

3. It is helpful to get the seller's work address and phone number through casual conversation. Record the information and save.

4. Find out the seller's internet provider. Hotmail accounts do not count. The conversation could go like this: "Can you e-mail me a picture of the part? Then again, my server is so crappy lately it is a wonder that I get any e-mail at all. Who do you have for service? is it as slow as _____? "
Record and save the information.

5. When sending payment, use a money order with enough room to put your name and address as well as the name and address of the seller. It is vital that you get a money order that allows you to put a description of what the money order is for. I use First Union Bank money orders because they have provisions for the above information. Keep a photocopy and receipt of the Money Order.

6. Send payment via usps and use delivery confirmation. This allows tracking the shipment. This way the perp cannot claim the funds were not received and provides proof of USPS involvement. Keep the receipt.

7. Keep a record of all phone calls (phone bills would be great), keep all e-mails and print them out in paper form as well as a backup disk.

8. Keep a record of the for sale ad location, and make a printed copy/disk backup.

It is vital that you follow the above steps. The information above will give you an iron tight case and all of the information will be put to good use if the need arises. The following information centers around what to do in case of being ripped off. Assuming that phone calls and e-mails are getting you nowhere, you must now be a private investigator for a day or two.....

1. Using the perp's address, do an internet search or whatever other means available, find out what law enforcement agency has jurisdiction over the perp's mailing/street address. record and save the information.

2. Find out what local law enforcement agency has jurisdiction over the location in which your first contact with the seller's ad took place from. Example: If you answered the ad from your computer at home, then the jurisdiction must cover your home address. Record and save the information.

3. Find out the perp's Internet Service Provider's page and contact
information, record and save.

4. Find out the perp's cell/home phone provider, contact information. Record
the information and save.

5. Find the address and contact information of the perp's local post office.
Record the information and save.

6. Call the seller's work location at a time that the perp cannot answer the work phone and find out who runs/owns the business. Record the information and save.

If all the above steps have been completed, Congrats!
You are ready to wage war.......When doing so, it will be most effective if the perp doesn't know that the war has started, It is essential that the complaints be filed all in the same day with reference to all other complaints. Example: The post office complaint should contain a reference to the FBI complaint, ISP complaint, etc......

1. Start a negative thread explaining the situation.

2. Draft a letter of complaint with plenty of copies that outlines the transaction, as well as all copies of information that you gathered. This can be a basic form type letter and may look as
follows:

Dear ________ (perp or agency),

I am the victim of an internet scam involving the sale of ___________. Here is a synopsis of what has occurred. (time to give the facts here)

I also have the following information that will be relevant: (give as much of the perp's information that you have found including websites of negative info, ISP info, post office info, police dept. etc.

So in a recap, I contracted to buy parts via internet from: _________ (include address)

I sent a money order in the amount of _____through the US postal service to the above person.

The perp will not answer e-mail, phone, etc.... and I need help. Can you provide assistance?

Than you for your help,
(signed________)

3. Gather all related information including web pages and the negative thread, and file a report with:
a. the local agency that had jurisdiction over your first contact. IT IS IMPORTANT that all information in copy form be submitted to your local agency first. Be sure to include the perp's ISP provider, phone number, and the perp's local law enforcement agency that would pick him up. The local agency will take the report and forward to the perp's local agency for their dispatch of an officer.

b. The FBI internet fraud site http://www.ifccfbi.gov

c. The perp's ISP provider stating that the perp is using their service to commit internet fraud. Send via regular mail and e-mail.

d. The perp's phone service/ cell provider for using their service to commit internet fraud. Send via regular mail AND e-mail.

e. The US postal service for using the mail to commit mail/ internet fraud. Do two reports, one to your local office and one to the perp's office. Do both regular mail and internet e-mail.

h. Send a complaint form copy to the work location of the perp that is addressed to the owner/manager. Make sure to include the phrase:
"While you do not have any control over this individual when he is not at work, you should make sure that internet fraud is not being committed by the perp using company equipment or company internet access."

i. Notify the perp and provide a list of all reports filed, that you have been forced to take action and that it is now completely out of your hands. The only way that proceedings can be dissolved is by the perp making restitution. Make it known that you gave him every chance, and now the authorities will take over. (at this point negotiating is pointless, the perp knows what to do.) End of discussion. Sometimes the most stubborn crook will do nothing until they get the knock at the door from the police. If that is what it takes, so be it.

What to do when dealing with a minor:

Everything above works fine, but additional work in the area of intelligence gathering is needed. Usually if all the above information is obtained, internet searches can usually point the way
to the parents. The parents are to be notified in the same manner as all the other agencies,
including copies of complaints to other agencies. It is important that you do not threaten a minor via e-mail or phone conversation. Leverage can be used, but to physically threaten with violence will affect your position when pressing charges.

It's in 'good' condition as specified by kbb.com. I've done my best to keep it in shape by using premium 91 octane gas, not babying the engine and hand washing the car by myself.

It is the base m35 model so no extra options (slate blue is the color). There's still plenty of standard options though like ventillated/heated front seats, bluetooth, 6 disc mp3/cd changer, xenon lights, etc...

Radiator, CV Axles, Coolant Hoses, AC compressor and various other maintenance items have been replaced in the past two years. A/C is SUPER cold.

I have a SR16VE trans, an ASP budget header and a full oil cooler kit not installed. These do not come with the car for the base price

The car does have some dents in the driver's rear quarter. ***hole pulled a hit and run, and I never got them fixed. There is also a bit of a cold start issue related to the Calum ecu. You have to give it gas for the first few seconds after startup or it dies out. Easily fixed with new chips or a Calum Realtime.

I've popped it out a bit since then, and it looks better. I'll get pics ASAP.

I'm testing the waters on my Infiniti I35.

It's an 03 model with 108k miles on it.
I've put a ton of maintenance into this car in the past couple months.

New:
- Wheels (G35 coupe), and tires. ($800)
- Lower control arms with new ball joints ($300)
- Driver side tie rod end ($30)
- sway bar end links and bushings ($50)
- underdrive pulley and belts ($150)
- Tokico Illumina adjustable shocks ($400)
- rotora slotted brake rotors and Axxis Ultimate brake pads ($400)
- lifetime alignment with Tires Plus ($100)
- transmission flush ($60)

So yeah.. that's depressing... I've put over $2k into the car in the last three months.

I usually see these going for around $8,000 to $9,000 for this year and similar miles.... and I promise the other ones don't have brand new running gear (wheels, tires, brakes, suspension, etc..)

Black leather interior is really clean! Has a nice wood grain on the dash panels, power rear window shade, all of the normal bells and whistles, etc..
I still have and will include with the car the original set of alloy wheels and 3 of those tires are pretty much brand new.. so that should be worth another $400+

Still, I won't try to pass this car off as perfect. It's got a couple of issues yet.
1.) Ticking noise from the engine. I can't tell if it's valve tick, or a loud injector. It doesn't have any impact on performance. You can hear it with the hood popped, or if you are at a drive-through window.
2.) Driver seat power motor for forward/backward movement is stuck. You can hear the motor engage, but it won't move. I haven't found the time yet to pull up the seat and check it out.. might be something as simple as a coin stuck in the track. But it's in a perfect driving position for me... so I've just never taken the time to fix it.
3.) There are quite a few scratches and dings in the paint. There is a noticable dent on the front of the hood. The rear bumper has some block spots. It doesn't need a new paint job, but a good buff/polish would clean it up really nice. I think the dent on the hood can be pulled out because you can access it from underneath, and the rear bumper could use some touch up or a quick respray.
4.) The shift knob has the fake wood trim, but the top of it is starting to chip and the wood is coming off... (not a big deal, but something I will replace if I keep it).

Why am I selling it... Life changes.. I'm moving from Wisconsin to Ohio next week. That major change forced me to sell my S14 project car. I was happy with a nice daily driver and a toy, but now I don't have my toy. So I want to get a daily driver that is a toy. Namely.. a used 350z that is listed here on NICO by a guy in Cleveland.

So I'd like $8000 or best offer. I would say that I would trade for a 350z plus I would throw in cash, but that might be a pain because I still have a lean against this car.

For sale is a 1997 Infiniti I30 black on tan leather parts car. The car was involved in a single car accident (hit a streetlight pole) and the following parts broken/totaled: front bumper, front grill, hood, driver fog light, radiator, frame, windshield, roof and passenger taillight. The following is a list of new parts on the car, the majority of which were installed within the last 6 months and have less than 5,000 miles on them: alternator, starter motor, transmission pan, battery, rear driver and passenger brake calipers, rear driver and passenger brake rotors, rear driver and passenger brake pads, front driver and passenger strut mounts, front driver and passenger struts, driver side drive-axle and CV joint/boot, driver and passenger ball joints, front driver and passenger wheel bearings and inner and outer seals, and all 4 tires. The tires are literally almost brand new, less than 500 miles on them (Goodyear Assurance ComforTred - P205/65R/15-80,000 mile tread life). The car is totaled, however the motor (minus the radiator) and transmission still work perfectly. Before the accident the car had no existing mechanical issues, ran and drove perfectly. With the new tires and suspension parts it is/was one of the smoothest riding cars I have ever ridden in. The tires retail for around $115 each ($460 plus tax and mounting) and when combined with the all of the new parts, as well as the rest of the automobile if one had the time and space to do so, could turn a profit off of the parts very easily (or fix your Infiniti I30 or Nissan Maxima). All other parts and electrical systems are fully functional, seats are in good condition, and the undamaged body panels are also in very good condition. Since I have owned the car (4 years, 35,000 miles) I have had no motor or transmission problems, have kept it meticulously well maintained since I owned it and would still be driving it today if possible. Pictures are available upon request.

Realistically taking parts off of the car and selling them yourself on ebay or other classifieds you could get a lot out of the car. If you are rebuilding/repairing the car, minus the above list of damaged parts, EVERYTHING on the car works and functions properly. Retail on the total cost of all the new parts that I invested ON TOP of the car when I bought it (ran perfectly at time of purchase) totals more than $2000.

Selling my M45. The car is an amazing vehicle to drive, nimble for a larger sedan and very quick. My car buying habits catch up to me, and I have to let one go... Its a sad day.
