How do I reply to a topic?
To reply to a topic in ZeroForum you must be logged in.The Topic Title field will already be filled out with the topic title of the original post. The user that your are replying to will be appended to the end of the displayed topic title. Enter your reply text in the Reply text field. You may quote the post your are replying to by clicking the Quote button on the text edit toolbar. The content of the original post will be inserted at your current cursor position in the Reply text field. If the site Administrator has enabled the Show Full Thread option, you will see the most recent posts in the topic below the reply box. You may then select the Quote button for each post you wish to reply to. If your Administrator has enabled file attachments for this forum, you may include a file from your local computer to upload along with your post. A link to the file will be displayed at the bottom of your post in the thread view. To append your custom signature to you post the "Append my signature to this post" must be checked. This option is checked by default. You can edit your signature by using the "My Profile" option. To append your custom signature to this post, the "Append signature to this post" check box must be checked. You can change the default status of this check box in each post in the User Options section of your profile. You can also edit your signature by via the My Signature option of your profile. To recieve an email when your Topic is replied to, click the "Email me all replies to this topic". This option is not checked by default. If you are having difficulty receiving these messages via email, verify that your email provider allows messages from this site's email address. The messages may be being blocked by the server's email filter. To have a copy of the post saved in your notepad, check the "Save a copy of this post in My Notepad" option. By default this option is not checked. You can view your Notepad entries under the My Notepad section of your profile. If the Save Draft button is available, you may use this option to postpone your reply as a message draft. Clicking the button will save your progress so far as a message draft in your Notepad. You can then retrieve this draft via the Retrieve Draft function. You may only save one reply draft per topic. To retrieve a saved message draft, click the Retrieve Draft button. This will populate the Title and Reply boxes with your saved draft. When selected, this option will automatically check the Delete Message Draft checkbox.
