I just called my credit card company and cancelled my order for the K-SPORT Coilovers for my S13... Trix's lack of customer service/support was getting on my last nerve and I figured that K-Sport isn't that great of a company anyways, so i got my money back...I would have really liked for this groupbuy to work out, but my faith in trix is not there, so **** trix and **** nick too.. they all suck! Any suggestions on a nice set of coilovers for sub 800 bills for S13???? shoot um this way.. dre

Haha... sorry to hear about that. They are STILL doing these group buys?

Well, as a member of the original D2 group buy that inspired the K-Sport thing... I can tell you the coilovers are worth every penny of the $600 I spent.

Mark (the first group buy sponsor) had a couple issues here and there with delayed shipping, but it wasn't too bad. He always got back with emails immediately... sucks that Trix couldn't do the same.

Sorry to hear about all your problems with the group buy.

The sub-$800 price is going to be tough.

I suppose you could go with a spring/strut combo like KYB AGX, Suspension Techniques or RSR Race springs and some Tein pillowball mounts and make it under $800, but you wouldn't have height adjustability.

You could get some Tein Basic dampers for just under $800, but then you wouldn't have damping adjustability or pillowball upper mounts and camber adjustability up front.

You could also get some Nismo S-Tunes, but then you're giving up height, damping and camber adjustability.

If you can save up a bit longer, it sounds like you'd be really happy with some KTS coilovers or Tein HE.

That sucks. I would like to take this opportunity though, to thank Alan and SPL one more time. I finally installed my coilovers last night, and they are sweet. I was originally part of Mark's first group buy on the D2's, and actually part of the FIRST one that failed thanks to paypal back awhile ago, and I'm really glad that in the end I came up with the SPL's.
