Does the Mckinney downpipe for the rb25 replace the cat or will I need to buy a test pipe also?

The Mckinney pipe will bolt up to the stock cat or if you choose a high flow or if you dont care a test pipe. Basicly the down pipe will meet where you stock exhaust manifold connected to your cat.

Yes i use it on mine with the 3 inch test pipe. I have the prototype the used to build there pipes. The fit is good but it does sit a little low. Mack and I already talked about it and are supposed to check the clearance and make any changes if needed. As for the black on the back of the car its not that bad. mine is my daily driver and I dont have that problem.

Thanks man, and glad to see your back and safe. I just wanted to make sure my car wasn't sitting weird or something. I bought a mig welder yesterday, and soon as I teach myself to weld, I am gonna shorten the pipe a little.

I have a test pipe with my set-up and it doesn't turn my rear end black. Been driving it daily since May. Not a McKinney DP, though.

To be honest I think the reason I see ricers riding around with the black all over the back of there cars is becasue they either keep their stock exhaust and do an autozone special muffler, or go to bobs exhaust shop and get a 3" all the way back made of cheap steel when they need about half that size.. I dont think Ive seen many with good aftermarket parts like that....but again Im no expert..

SO 3" test pipe it is,, I appreciate all the feedback..
