"All women are kniving *****es." - best friend's mom
Right, I'm not ranting about women this time. I'm just curious as to what you guys think is going on.
Yesterday I was at work and T calls (T=female interest). She's all happy cause she's playing soccer and doing quite well. Apparently college scouts are/were talking to her at this tournament. Anyways, so they won their first game and blah blah blah. She's a happy camper, that's the point, so I'll move on.
She calls me again later and asks if there's any way she can see me that night (last night), I said I didn't really think so, seeing as I was going to be at my aforementioned best friend's house that night. They live near each other, but I believed she was staying with her aunt up here near where I live that night. Anyways, she has the rest of the tournament to play (today) so she couldn't be out late last night.
Apparently she decided to go home, near where my friend lives.
She calls and asks again if there's any way she can see me and sounds really distraught. So I ask her what's up.
Her story:Apparently, some guy she beat in a race (yup, in her s***zoid early 90's -auto- Grand Am) last week saw her on the road and started trying to get her to race again (he drives a Mustang and is apparently a tool, I'll let you guys make that connection). Anyways, she was tired from soccer and just wanted to go home, so she said no. He continued egging her on.
Well, a few miles down the road he's messing with her and stuff and starts bumping her rear bumper. Jack***? Yes. Then apparently he bumped her pretty nicely and she slid off the road, narrowly missing a ditch and a house (going right between them) into a field. He takes off. She picks grass out of her bumper and goes home, pissed to all hell.
She then asks if I can come over there real quick to see her and be captain comforting. Calm her down a bit, that kind of thing.
I say I don't know, I'll see what I can come up with.
She calls again and says "well, at least I can talk to you." Then yells at her dog cause he won't shut up. I ask, "Can't you tell your dad or your bro to take care of him?" She says she's home alone. Fishy? Yes. Cruely enticing? Definitely.
Eventually, I get fed up with having her all down and whatnot and figure I'll take the chance and run over there (I was supposed to be at my friend's house all night, nowhere else- parent mandate).
I get there and she does the classic "wrap your arms around his neck and lay your head on his chest to feel protected" maneuver. And a few other tricks that were borderline cruel and unusual punishment via blueballs.
Anyways, her dad will apparently be home 20 minutes later, so we hang out for a few minutes then she tells me I have to go, and that I ought to have come sooner (cough).
Right, so to the point here. Was that story just a tool to get me to come over? Moreover, why? Home alone, late at night, barely dressed... it honestly sounds a bit fishy.
I honestly think she exaggerated her story, but since when did a girl try that hard to get a guy to come over while she's alone?
It's kinda hard to explain my thought process without getting into silly details, but basically I wonder if she was looking to do something or was honestly in need of comfort... though how often does someone in need of comfort straddle someone else on a couch?
I hate being lied to and manipulated, that's what my ex did, so if that story was fabricated, all hell will rain down, fire and brimstone, even a *****-slap from Jesus himself. She tries to guilt trip me a lot, but only in the past few days... when she does, I hang up on her and she apologizes. I'm going to find out where she was run off an send my friend over to look (I live about a half hour away from both of them)... I'm sure I sound paranoid and overly suspicious, but as of late she reminds me so much of my exgf that it's driving me nuts.
"I don't understand high-maintenance people." - same friend's chick friend... yes, apparently chicks have themselves figured out.
Wow, I think I've confused even myself now... if you need clarification on something, just ask.
