Back when I was in highschool I took Kempo karate, actually got to green belt before I quit... it was always something that I sorta wished that I had kept doing: both as a means of self defense as well as the physical training, etc...

Anyways now that I've graduated college and I have a little more time on my hands, I'd like to start doing some karate again... Except this time I was thinking about trying out Judo. Judo has always really interested me, it seemed like the most useful kind of self defense, and I was always a good wrestler etc... I donno I was just wondering if anyone here in the NICO world practices Judo already and maybe could talk with me about it for a little while or whatever.

Anyone?

Judo is always a good choice.

it's a lot of throwing and bars and locks for the most part, striking is used, but usually after another manuever.

the basis is using your opponent's force and momentum against them. it'll let someone about Ben's size throw my *** with ease.

my sugggestion, talk all you can. Judo is good for the little guy to take as it might give them an advantage against the bigger people.
