Electronic Oil Pressure Gauge... Just tap the sending unit right? Where is it on the KA? and is there a wire running to the ecu i can tap?

oil pressure switch is just below the oil filter. you have to buy an electronic sending unit (most gauges come with them) and make sure it is metric. the sending unit on the engine is just a low pressure switch for the dummy light.

most gauges are complete packages that come with all the fittings and sending unit. i found put the hard way by going mechanical and not being able to find a npt fitting that matches up to metric. i was reading about a couple gauges that are complete units. one was Faze and the other was stewart warner,but im sure autometer or other reputable companys carry complete units. if you track one down please let me know what it is!

I have a gauge i got from a friend.. but I need an electonic sending unit to go with.. any ideas?

check out an auto parts store that carries guages made by stewart warner. i know that company makes an electric oil sending unit kit. the last i remember it was 50$ cdn. might be a good place to start
