1991 240sx hb, 5spd, super hicas edition, viscus lsd diff, it has that 4wd steering. the guy told me it has like 150km (it goes by km) the car is red running great. the seats inside have some tears, the ac isnt blowing out cold air, it has its scraches, its red, the rear spoiler isnt on, he has it but its cracked. hes selling it for 1675 he said the lowest he will go is 1500... is it worth it?

They could sell it for 2500 to 3000, that seems to be the nasty trend...

Possibly more, if the person selling it has done any research

Expecially if he said it only has 150K km on it, that is only a little over 100k miles I believe.... And I agree that the HICAS 240's are RARE! I would take him up on that offer (as long as nothing else real major is wrong, might want to inspect it quite well for any other problems that you might not have noticed (well that would only really be necessary if the guy actually knew the value of the car and also was trying to rip someone off)) But probably the owner doesn't know the value of what he's got.

Good Luck!

They're good ones to have - HICAS models have the faster steering rack too, and the ABS. I paid $3000 for mine with 120k, but mine is in pretty good shape too. Are you retaining the HICAS with the swap, or nixing it?

it's SE. You should have a windshield wiper in the back. And those SE rims. The rimes that look like hub caps, but are rims. Well that doesn't explain much, but yeah :)_

Hey, there is a chance that I might be interested in your engine, since you are swapping in an sr... Not sure though, what are you thinking about selling the engine and transmission for??

Two years ago I paid $2500 for my '92 se coupe (all options except HICAS, ABS, and VLSD) with 120k miles, strong well maintained engine, no rust anywhere (except exhaust mani :) ), decent cosmetics, nice $200 Clarion head unit and two sets of Clarion coaxials. It was spot on the bluebook value. Sounds like you found a good deal.
