ive just had bad experiences when you are just starting to get the rear fluid warmed up, its not so reliable as to whether or not its going to lock. every car that ive driven with the vlsd (my friends 400+ hp turbo 90 RX7, my friends miata, and my dads truck) had problems with its feel of "am i going to lock this time?" while every car ive driven with a clutch type (my 88 NA rx7, my 350 hp 69 camaro (before i sold it

) and my dads 69 corvette) have been absolutly expectable, and totally lock happy. not having driven a nissan VLSD may have been a shortcoming of mine before i posted, and i intend to check out a nissan VLSD, but i will always go with a clutch type.
