relocate 3rd brake light on s13 hatch

has anyone relocated the 3rd brake light on their hatch. i'd like to do it when i clean up the stock rust holes from that cheasy lil wing. i say stock because nissan knew about the inherent problem and wont do anything about it. anyway i want to shave that light and put one at the top of the hatch glass. like the 90-93 integra.

depending on how the light is shaped, you could use double sided tape to hold it to the glass. or make a couple of brackets that could attach to the headliner's edge. the wiring is aleady right there by the edge of the headliner so that should be straight forward.

Thats kinda funny. I was looking at the back of my car, and thinking the same crap. Been Thinking maybe replacing it with a LED type brake light and running it along the top or bottom edge.

BTW, there is also a guy who is running the light behind the plate inbetween the lights. When he hits the brake, it lights up the 240sx and looks kinda trick.

that would look good but i want to see a piture of it. i'd do it with a 180sx rear garnish. OH wtf does "BTW" mean? :ylsuper
