need help for the transmission plugs on the SR.

Hi all,Tonight I just finished the swap of SR20det black top into my S14 and I have encountered a problem about the sensors plugs on the SR transmission. They seems like not going to plug in with Ka transmission harness. Does anyone knows what is the problem? Do I need a transmission harness from SR? or can I do any modification to make them plug together?

Try a search of aritical forum and 240 technical. this subject has been discussed and I think you have to rewire some of the connectors to make them work. not sure but I believe it is covered in one of the write ups.

Hi,I have solved the transmission problem. But now I have couple other problems.The engine starts but it back firing a lot and the temperature is high. Eventhough I have the thermo changed.

check your timing first. How does the car accelerate when driving, is it sluggish or does it ping?
