Hey NICO,

I have been debating whether or not to post the wheels we have choosen for our demo RB26DETT 1998 240SX project car. I kind of wanted to keep it a secret so that everybody would find out about this wheel when it hit the magazines. But, I couldn't contain the guilt I felt for holding something like this. With over 3" lip, and a price that would make anyone smile, YOU DEFINATLELY need to check this out!

I am really excited to announce, in my opinion, one of the hot new wheels that is hitting the import scene for 2004.

The wheel we choose is the ROH Drift-R, probably the top selling wheel in Australia right now for the Skyline crowd. The large majority of their wheels are made specifically for Nissans which has been the problem with most other wheel companies out there. You shouldn't have any trouble finding offsets, etc.

The Drift-R comes in sizes:

17x8 (offset 20, 30) 2" lip 18x8 (offset 20, 30) 2" lip 18x9 (offset 35) 3" lip 19x9 2" lip 19x9 3" lip

Color: Magnesium Center with Hyper Silver Polished Lip

Look for MSRP to run around $200-$250/wheel for the 18" wheels!

We'd love to hear feedback. If you guys are interested, we are talking with ROH about a possible bulk order for NICO members!

They look good. Do you have different ceter caps, reminds me of the cobra R wheels.

Yeah,

They're very nice but since I don't own a GT-R of any kind, I'm claiming rice.......only because of the centercaps mind you!!!

I saw a 240 the other day with a GT-R badge and I stopped him in the movie parking lot and asked if he at least had an RB swap and he just looked at me funny.

Man, I'd want to know how much they weigh, then I'd want to know if I could get them without the GTR badge.

Speaking of GT-R badges. I rolled up to a Civic at a stop light with a GTR badge and dual exhaust. I stared the kid down and he wouldn't even look at me... he saw my 240 and knew why I was looking at him... hahaha.

Drift-R people, not GTR!!!!

The wheel is called the Drift-R hence the Drift-R symbol! It's not rice!!!

I am going to see what I can do for all you 4 luggers, but I think its time for a 5 lug swap!

Take care!

We are shooting an upcoming article that will be in the June issue of HCI magazine next week. We will be doing a tech install of the Apexi N1 coilovers with these wheels.

We have our Supra TT/300ZX Brake Upgrade kit on our car, so I will mate them up and make sure they fit.

But, you should be able clear Z32 brakes with no problem!
