transmission rattle

I have a rattle that I recently noticed. It can only be heard with the window down. Anyways, it's kinda hard to get it to rattle (probly cause it just started maybe it'll get worse) but if i'm stopped and put the car in first, slowly releasing the clutch while keeping the rpm at about 1200 while the clutch is grabbing.. just before it fully engages there is a rattle. What's wrong with my car?
