Does anyone know how to unlock the phone for use without the code from the previous owner ? Just thinking it would be good for emergency use. Thanks.

I have the instructions written away somewhere ... I will look for it.

Also, sometimes, just dialing the "911" or "*911" will work anyway. I think many (if not all) handset manufacturers allow emergency dialing - regardless of whether the phone is locked or not. Try calling Infiniti customer service (or Motorola - the OEM vendor) and ask about that.
