My swap is great... i love my car to death now... its pretty quick.. but now im ALWAYS wanting to fly....

Im also finally ( dont wanna say drifting ) flying around corners and loose that traction REALLY easy! its a great feeling...

ok now here is the question....

The sr's are made to be driven hard.. ( hope im right ) but i still always checking under the hood to make sure everything goes well...

What are some of the basic/big problems people have when they run the car pretty hard???

Also, Rocker arm stopper... is it hard to install??? i know i need them.. Someone please help!!!!!!

Thanks guys, Jeff.

ususally the degree of the camshaft is what makes it different

I know what you mean when you say "Always wanting to fly". The top end is great on the SR, but that's what gets you in trouble. I just finished my swap a few weeks ago and I am having a few cooling problems. If you are running the stock KA radiator make sure to keep a eye on the temp gauge, esp if you have a FMIC.

cam shafts,i believe is the theory of the bigger the lobe the more open your valves are open, and lapping,as in having the valves open at the same time i think is only good for na cars or is it not good at all i dunno, but well intake camshafts are the camshafts that control the way teh intake valves open and same as exhaust.correct if wrong please

rocker arm stoppers are pretty easy. I have them. It's about a one hour job. Make sure you get a torque wrench though. You need to torque the cam tower bolts to 12 pounds. NO MORE.

How much do you torque the valve cover bolts down? I know which order from a diagram I have, just don't know the torque specs.

Jspec, The old man is transmitting subliminal messages for me.

I got Tomei RAS's, GReddy doesn't make RAS's, but HKS does. Tomei > HKS.

badass, I doubt those torque specs are really that important, just hand tighten them. It's not like you are going to pop your valve cover off. Between 20 and 30 is what I'd assume.

BTW, my TOMEI RAS will be delivered tomorrow and I have been hearing they need to be trimmed in order to fit in the S14 SR20, is that true? Sorry, I'm just filled with questions today :)
