300zx rear end

hey i would like to do an lsd swap in my 89 240 coupe. would it be possible to just buy the entire rear of a 300 zx (rotors axels lsd ect..) and just bolt it up? i planned on doing the zx brake conversion all around anyway so i was wonder if it would save me some steps instead of making 2 projects out of it. also how would you think a low milage rear would cost from a yard?

The 300Z rear end has different output shafts. You will need to remedy this by either buying new output shafts or modifying the axles. There are several write ups on this if you search. I think there is one in the faq also.

Do not get a twin turbo diff as they are R230s and do not fit easily.
