Hey guys.

I've posted a For Sale ad for my car in the Buy/Sell/Trade section. I've finally decided to sell my Q for good.

Earlier this morning, I stepped outside to start the 240SX. The Q was parked alongside the road and despite my personal resolve to never get attached to a car, afterall it's just metal and rubber, I was deeply saddened at the thought of not waking up to her in the morning...

At 4, I started her up and took her across town to the car wash. The whole ride back home, I realized how much I'd miss this car. From the gentle purring at idle...the monstrous VVVRRRRRRROOOOOOOMMMPPPHH of WOT engulfing my body.

Sarinaded by Chantel Kreviazuk's "Until We Die," I was flooded with a thesaurus of emotions ranging from frustration (when the ECU died on me) to sheer ecstacy (carving up the Berkshire countryside in a car that rose above its physical heft to conquer the New England asphault).

In 20 minutes, I relived every special moment I had in this car. And in 20 minutes, I grew to love every little idiosyncracy.

Although I'll no longer own an Infiniti, I'll still hang around here.

It's been great being a part of the NICO family.

Soph,

You'll be back. In 4 months or so you're gonna miss the Q so much you're gonna run out and by another. :) But if you don't you'll be missed.

AAWWW you guys.... :sniff sniff:

Group hug!

Seriously, I'm not leaving NICO. I just won't have the Q anymore. You'll find me in the 240 boards more often.

You know, there may be a million and one car forums, but they ain't nuttin' like this Infiniti board, that's for sure.

Who knows? Maybe a few years down the line, I'll have the moola to pick up another used Q...

Man, this sucks - But as long as you stick around the 240 boards, we'll still keep in touch.

Gonna be clearing out any spare Q goodies?

I'm still interested in seeing pics when you're able to get them. Just FYI.

How did the slam dunk deal go?

jeZtEr - If you DO decide to let the Vette go, let me know. We're in the market for a "steel bumper" Stingray (thru 73?), but I'm sure mama would make an exception if the deal was right.
