YES!!!! My Q is running again!!! I paid $65 for a new ECU from Northern Auto Sales in Nazareth, PA! I just slapped that baby in, cranked the ignition and was delighted to hear that V8 pur I've been yearning for for so long!

On a side note, installed a Chevy 427 in my Datsun Z. Westech intake, edelbrock carb. Ricers beware!

Scoured http://www.car-parts.com.

Called each and every vendor until I found the part. By the way, those guys have some good prices on Q parts and were very pleasant to deal with.

Glad you didn't give up! Too much money down the drain to part it out.....

How did you find it under that snowdrift to swap out the ECU? Glad you're back in the black!

Great News. What exactly did it take in terms of the part specification?

Is that the ZL-1 block in the Z? If iron, must be and extra 500 lbs on the front end. Need to tell us about this in the off topic forum.

Good to hear the Q isn't being parted out! What years and mileage did they have on hand for Qs? I might be looking for a couple of things myself. I actually started to think about selling you my 93 ECU out of an A car if I could find another non-A version, but hadn't got around to looking for one yet...
