Wood Trim guide for 07-09 G35 sedans, 08-09 Coupe

Postby Poyzinous » Thu Oct 08, 2009 5:21 am

For those who want to swap interior trim to wood finish if for some reason you don't like the washi aluminum trim, this guide will give you all the necessary part numbers for your interior trim pieces.
Prices may vary from dealer to dealer, if you want me to get them for you, e-mail me. Also remember that some dealers may have a no refund policy for special order parts.
The price that you see next to the number is approximate. It may be a little more, if you're lucky, a little less, at your local dealer.
The coupe, obviously (to some) doesn't have rear doors that require trim, so you'll be saving a few dollars there.
Enjoy the fruits of my hard research!

Front Door Trim Sedan
Pass- 80922-JK92A
Dr- 80923-JK92A
$55 each

Front Door Trim Coupe
Pass- 80920-JL10A
Dr- 80921-JL11A
$45 each

Disclaimer: the Drivers wood trims come with the holes for the seat memory. If you don't have seat memory, well you can use the holes to store your gold teeth. Or a small square shaped something.

Rear Door Trim
Pass- 82922-JK92A
Dr- 82923-JK92A
$70 each

Dash Trim
Dr. 68410-JK620 $130
Pass. 68411-JK620 $260

Shifter Trim
black/gray interior 96941-JK81A
beige interior 96941-JK81B
$480
It's pricey because it includes the ashtray assembly.

Radio Button Finisher Trim
Here it gets tricky if you don't read well:
For Journey Models: 68260-JK62A
For Tech and Nav equipped models: 68260-JK70A
For Journey models with Tech and Nav: 68260-JK72A
$250 for either of them.

For those not doing any calculations, the prices total as follows:
$1400 for the Sedan,
$1200 for the Coupe.

Para quienes no lo calcularon, los precios se suman a:
$15,680 Pesos para el modelo de 4puertas,
$13,400 Pesos para el modelo 2 puertas.

Whoooa! My aluminum looks just fine. If I'm going to drop those kinds of dollars on appearance, I'm getting rims.

Thanks Poyz....sorry to put you to that much trouble.
Some guys they just give up living
And start dying little by little, piece by piece
Some guys come home from work and wash up
And go racin' in the street.

Nice,

I love my Washi finish but I am sure some will benefit from this.

Sticky it!

Poyzi you rock as usual.

You can always just get the cheaper ones... mix and match. I don't know how tacky it would look.
I think if you kept aluminum on the center console you'd just spend half of the total, by just getting wood for the doors and the left/right dash trims.
It might look good on the black interior models. Maybe someone can photoshop...

It was a $550 option that I had to have on my 09 coupe.
In June,of 09, there were only 3 cars east of the Mississippi that were fully loaded and had this wood trim!
I thought that $550 was kind of a lot, but I had to have it.
I went to a lumber-yard once recently and asked what the most expensive wood was, and was told Rosewood. WOW! Genuine African Rosewood.
Can't imagine paying those prices though...
I LOVE it in my car and am glad I got it.
