p05's are what? a 92-95 civic non vtec ecu? they dont have butterfly valves...good morning wrote:Hondas have butterfly valves too. They have a curcuit in the ECU for them already.
I have 7 outputs and PWM outputs.
Honda ECUs even have a LCD screen http://www.hrtuning.com/pages/...w-lcd/

If I remember correctly H22's also have butterflies.ca18datsun510 wrote:

gsr's do, not much else in the 4 cylinder world of honda.
We are using Neptune.float_6969 wrote:Is the actuation point adjustable? I don't remember seeing that setting in Chrome. What software are you using? Is it just not on the P28 ECU's? Those are the ones I have the most experience with.
exactly I just think good morning was saying that some hondas have them, but the ecu were using has outputs, so we could use one of them for the butterflies.ca18datsun510 wrote:yes, but that doesnt matter if you are using a p06 d series ecu.
Yes. You are using the wrong base code. In crome, you need to use P72 base code to use IABs. P05, P06, and P28, it does not matter. They all use the same board.float_6969 wrote:Is the actuation point adjustable? I don't remember seeing that setting in Chrome. What software are you using? Is it just not on the P28 ECU's? You can add the hardware for IABs. It costs like .50$ca18datsun510 wrote:

its the cheapest thing i have found, you are right about that. but i am attempting to build this project for a extreme budget to see if its possible. Megasquirt is in my budget but that means i have to skimp out on some other hardware, that i would really like to have.r34 gtr wrote:MegaSquirt is too much money?! It cost me 400 bucks. Tell me thats expensive for a stand alone, I dare you. That being said I am interested to see how this works out.
Also, no offense, but isn't Crome terrible and bug-ridden? My buddy has been doing the honda thing for about 7 years now and he doesn't even like talking about it. Of course if your brother created it, he probably knows how to make it work.
resolved thanks
i haven't had any problems with crome. you gotta remember i don't have the freebie software. like i said earlier its personal preference. i'll get it to work and i'll post my first dyno sheet and screenshots here.r34 gtr wrote:MegaSquirt is too much money?! Do you have any pics on how you made the adaptor plate. Im just waiting on my adaptor plate from my machine shop buddy. Other than that I have all the stuff ready to start my install.wirednj wrote:We just successfully started our SR20DET on a Honda ECU using Crome. Here are some links to the videos.

Notice that the MAF is fully disconnected since the charge pipes have been cut off to make some room for the the distributor.

I'd blame the tuner for the differences, not the software.The_Chosen_One wrote:being a passenger in a neptune car and hondata car you can actually feel a difference, the neptune car felt significantly better.c-rad wrote:Why not go with Hondata?
I drove a neptune tuned car and I was extremly impressed.
