Will it fit? (Wheel question for 2002 QX4)

Hey guys,

Looking to install a set of wheels on my QX4. Specifically, I was looking at installing either the FN Countersteer Type X or the Six Shooter. Do you know if these wheels will fit a stock QX4 (i.e. no lift)? Want to make sure they fit before plunking down a lot of cash to have these shipped to me in Canada.

Countersteer Type X
Diameter: 17"
Width: 8"
Bolt pattern (PCD): 6x139.7mm
Offset: -10mm
Backspacing: 4.1"

Six Shooter
Diameter: 17"
Width: 8"
Bolt pattern (PCD): 6x139.7mm
Offset: 0mm
Backspacing: 4.5"

Except for the backspacing which I can't confirm, those look like they'll fit. Just check to make sure the center bore is at least 106mm. Note that the OEM wheels have a 10mm offset, so the Six Shooters will protrude outwards 10mm more, and the Countersteers 10mm more than that. That usually isn't an issue and probably desirable, looking at the type of wheels you have in mind

I'm assuming you'll be buying some new tires too, so it couldn't hurt to give the folks you'll be buying the tires and/or wheels from a holler and see what they say.

Those look really sharp! Take some pictures if you end up installing them. I might be interested in a similar style myself.

Confirmed with Dustin that the Six Shooters will fit with the QX4. Now to buy them in Canada and install them!
