Hi there!

Will 19x8 or 19x9 rims fit on a S13?And if they would fit, what kind of changes would i have to do to the suspension?Yes, i have searched the threads but couldn´t find a good answer.

I dont know of anyone running 19's. (19's=heavy=bad idea). Im sure they would fit, diameter should not be a problem, you just have to find the right offset. You would have to run extremely low profile tires, and if you drive over any kid of potholes, or crappy road, you could kiss the rims goodbye. Personaly, i think 19's are a really bad idea, but more power to you, and good luck.

The 19´s would be only for shows and meetings. For race i would use the stock 15" rims. Gues the tyre profile had to be 40 or even 35. I would use 245/40/19 on the rear and 225/35/19 in the front.

I know i would loose some power with the CA but i dont spent to much money on the engine cuz i want to swap in another one.

save your money on the wheels, and get the engine swap done first. the 19" wheels wouldnt help anything except lighten your bank account.

MAX wheel size should be a 18", maybe 225-40-18 and 265-35-18(porshe setup) or something would work, but anything lager than that is just adding un-needed weight, and reducing your effective gearing far too much.-chetPS: 245-40-19 would be way to large of an overall diameter, try a 245-30-19(if you can find one close to that.)

225-40-18 all around would be fine, just make sure you get a real good, light wheel, in about a 30-35mm offset.-chet

check out the FAQ links for different rim MFRs and their weights for different wheel designs, that should help you pick a wheel thats light.-chet
