yeah...but the point is that the shift pattern is so close that mistakes like that can happen to people who are real good at driving a stick... not saying that guy was good...but the basic opinion is that the transmission setup sucks...thus honda sucks

I dono man.I think something like that would happen regardless of the make of the car. I've owned hondas before getting my 240 and I never had a problem with them. Something like this really is driver error.

sure u can say that the setup of the gears is bit too close but i think its common sense about what happens when you downshift at redline

Honda is a reputable auto maker, we can thank them for making some awesome cars . . the NSX, S2000, and the 5th gen Prelude. Their V-Tec engines are awesome too. Wonder why everyone's driving around in a civic? Civics are like clay . . you turn them into whatever you want . . usually a bowl of rice, but Honda is definately not at fault for bad drivers.... some of the people on this board just need to realize that. I show respect to almost all japanese car companies . . cause there aint no other car that's gonna have about 220k miles on it and still run decent like a beat up accord or corolla.
