Why does my home A/C keep freezing?

This is really making Me mad. Our ac froze up a few Weeks ago so we thawed it out by turning the heater on. cold air worked after that.. Now it did It again. How the hell do I fix this!?!?! my bf just moved in and its almost always on 60 degreese.... Could that be why?

It could be many things!! Do you know what kind of system do you have? Package, split or heat pump? The coil could be dirty or there can be something blocking it!!
