Where is the fuel pump relay????

Hey, when I tried to start my car this morning... no fuel delivery... no fuel pump buzz. Ignition good.

I can't seem to find the fuel pump relay anywhere. Please help me out, I don't wanna buy a fuel pump if it's just a bad relay. Thanks.

it is in the relay box that is in the engine bay, it is on the passanger side, behind the battery, open that black box, you will find the discription of every relay and fuse on the back of the cover, you might also want to check the fuel pump fuse, and the injectors fuse too(in the same box), good luck

I wasn't able to find it... What's listed is:

RAD FANDTRL CUT*FR WIPERASCD HOLD* HORNN & P*HEATER MIRRORST HOLD*STARTERRR DEFOG

*what is this?

And how can I know if a relay is bad? Tap on it until it switches?

The Fuse is in the black box under the hood the relay is in the drivers side kick panel area above the tranny computer

Sorry, my father and I can't find it still. My car is a 1995 model, what year is that diagram for?

I'm thinking about just installing that new fuel pump that I haven't returned yet.

sorry about misleading you man, i wasnt able to refer to my car to confirm the location as i dont have the J at the moment, although i was pretty sure..... anyways, i'll have to find the service manual, and i'll let you know, by the way mine is a 95 also

The drawing is from a 95 FSM it looks like you will have to remove the lowerpart of the dash if you need a 95 FSM you can download ithere http://phatg20.net/modules.php...id=60

Hey, I replaced the fuel pump and now it works great. I doesn't seem like the relays easily go bad on these cars considering other people's similar experience, and the fact that my j has 200k miles.
