I have only a set of key with factory keyless entry(remote) , but the loop of keyless (remote) has broken, so i actually carry the keyless entry & key itself separately.

I was gonna purchase it through the dealer, butthey charge me $ 107 for extra keyless entry (remote) and additional$ 100 for reprograming it.

Do you guys have any suggestion or recommendation where i can perhapsget the factory keyless (remote) (or aftermarket, but works like facotry brand) ???

I already searched the way how to reprogramming in this great NICO forum. but then is it works for lock/unlock/open truck/panic as well?by doing input/pull-out into ignition 6~7 times in 15 seconds, and lock it manually inside, and when warning lights blinks, click on new remote lock button??

sorry, guys...have many silly questions.

you can buy a remote dirt cheap on ebay and they usually come with programming instructions.

to program:Close all doors, and lock

Insert key into ignition 6 times in 10 seconds(*hazards will flash twice)

Replace key into ignition and turn to ACC position

Press lock button on new remote once, hazards will flash

Remove key, unlock door

You can find them on ebay. Just make sure you buy one with an FCC ID that matches the one on the back of your original remote.

You can program it yourself, no need to pay the dealer (especially not $100).

I hope I am not stealing this thread, but how about if I bought my car and the lady did not give me a remote and now I wanted to buy a remote for my car. How would I determine what fcc id I would need most of the sites that I looked at all have this fcc id: A********8

my power lock module on the car ends with a 9 but i bought one ending with an 8 off ebay and no problems. i don't think there's any differences between 95-99 key fobs.

I got one for my Infiniti I35 @ mrremotes.com for $25 It was used but looks brand new. Came with programming instructions and it was a snap to do. If you already have an exisiting remote, you'll have to reprogram it as well.
