Let's see your Max wheel pics.....post 'em here. I had a set of TSW chrome wheels that lasted for about 5 years on my '96, but it's time for some new shoes.....Let's see them pics

WELCOME TO NICO!!! Glad you're here!

When I can afford...@13 pounds per wheel, it'll improve accelleration a little bit. (shaving unsprung weight)

Those are nice too. But for some chrome, I'm willing to sacrifice the .00000012 sec I might lose from light to light. Got any chromes out there? With black, I always thought chrome looked nice, but maybe things have changed a bit...

Okay, to understand unsprung weight a little more, For every pound of unsprung weight that you shave, it's equal to 20 pounds of sprung weight (in accelleration) So my Maxima's stock wheels are 24 pounds, and the trac lites are 13 pounds. That's 44 pounds shaved. Now multiply that by 20,= 880 pounds. That equates to about 3/4 to 1 full second in the 1/4 mile.

BTW, chrome wheels are way heavier than stock.

Yeah, they're heavier for sure, no doubt about that, but I'm willing to sac for the sake of black on chrome. I'm stock anyhow so the small loss of power doesnt matter much to me. When I switched from my 17" chrome TSW's back to stock, boring 15's i could definitely tell a difference.

Not bad...I'm not a big fan of chromies on the Max.

Especially the DUB type rims. I like rims with a bit o lip to them....and I like the exposed lugs...I dont like the solid center on rims.

But hey...to each his own...and those look nice...just not my style!

Anyway...mine is a third gen...but here is a pic anyway...Its a little dark...but it works.

Hey Audtatious, I got those rims on my 4th gen SE in 17's with 245's on em. How do you like them? Never got to weigh them either, and weight's important to me. Think they're heavy?
