After long rides and dissappointed days, I have finally found a salvage 1997 Q45 in a guys back yard so we talked and he mention the motor need O rings but is allowing me to buy any parts I want . I have only grabbed the fenders and front bumper which is what I needed far as body.
So this weekend am going for under the hood parts could anyone recommend some parts and sensors that commonly fail, hard to find, or just expensive that I "Should get" ? By the way I talked him into letting me get all sensors for 15-20 bucks a pop (wear and tare)

Hey! Nice find! I also have a 97 q! Do you know how many miles are on the car? The front calipers are a great one to grab their worth 100-200 bucks on eBay then you might as well take the front struts out depending on condition those are way to common of a problem. Depending on condition and asking price I'd grab some interior parts of its worth it, dash trim, arm rest, the whole front ashtray with accessory plug and spring mechanism. Some of the coil packs may be good still, rack and pinion is an easy seller or keep as a Spair. Basically the list goes on and on.

However though I'm in a hole. My ac belt tensioner managed to fall off and some point a couple weeks after I replaced the belt :( I can't seem to find it from infiniti at all. I live in Iowa and I've got the only q45 I've ever even seen of my gen. In person. It would be aMaZing if you could pull that tensioner wheel off for me... I would make it worth your while for sure if your going to be there already. And if your not able to... I'd really love it if you could take some good quality photos of tensioner wheel for the ac belt because I can't even find a picture of it so I can get something similar to It. I'd PayPal you five bucks for 5 good quality photos of it from different angles.
Please and thank you. Good luck either way✌

Sorry for late response been tied up, but I am going this week to pull that part for you if you still needed? Anyone need a part I may be willing to sale and send pics.

But I will be getting all the listed parts you guys gave me this week, thanks. Ok question I need a strut on my Q (pass side) so would it be easier and safer to remove the entire strut assembly on salvage Q and take mines out?
