So here is the deal. Right now I have two NAs. Both of them run. run is something else. One needs a new driver side door the other needs some work done to the driver side rear panel.

My plan a year ago was to fix up my purple one (it came to me that color) but luck would have it that my Daily driver dead so my z had the task of getting me to work. So for the last year it has been my DD. It has had some same problems but nothing that keeps it from running. Well things like replacing injectors,MAS, ecu have stopped it from running but nothing to big. I have a great Z club where I live so parts & labor have been cheap or free.

Now my black one is an auto(fail)matic . I got it for $1100(that money was saved up for a JDM engine) inside the car looks new. only missing the rear liner. It was hit on the driver side door. The firm does not look bad or anything. but the door would have to be replace and new window would be needed.

Now right now I think i understand owning two Zs would not be cheap and i really don't wanna plan on owning 2 (right now anyways).
I am thinking take them and make on great running and looking 5speed NA Z then part out the rest.
What would you guys do?

Take the purple one off the road. (it's got qp damage..fixable, but the question is, why would you fix it?)
Take the door off the purple one and put it on the black one.
Swap the transmissions on the two, all the parts are there, anyway. And 5 speed manual is better.
Take that front bumper off the purple one and put it on the black one.
Keep the wheels, and sell them
Sell everything else from the purple z to fund your TT swap AND better wheels :D

Now i see why you were in the tech section trying to find out how to take the door off, lol ;)

That's the best route to go in my opinion. :D

And by the way, don't do this until you can afford a paintjob for the black one, which it will need after you swap the bumper and door. It'll look way too ghetto, and we don't want that :)

So roll around as is for now, and don't even do maintenance on the purple one. Just let it die, and when it does, you should have enough money to get a nice paintjob and swap all the parts over. You'd be keeping mileage down in the black one with this theory as well :)

ah, even better. So all you gotta do is just save up money for a paintjob and do all of the swapping in that same day you have the money to send it in for paint :)
