What Rim color for black 240 hatch?

I'm planning on buying some rims for a black 240 hatch but don't know what color to get them. what are some good colors for a black car. I was planning on getting black rims to give the car a dark, serious "dont mess with me" look. but everyone by where i live seems to be copying this look ever since they saw my two friends with Black rims on their cars( a Black 95 S14, and a beige 97 U-13). Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I would go for some black rims with some lip... and then paint the lip red...

Well, I'm about to order this set. Its 17x 7.5 Velox Vx- HyperBlack. This is a new color they just come out with. VEry nice.I got it from Egsolidsports off of Groupbuycenter.com for 899$ with tires and free shipping too. They also give you a good selection of tires to choose from.

I think I'm going to cry...... I have the 17" ADR Racing Gears with that scheme. Gunmetal rim, with a red lip!They came that way though, I didn't have to paint them.

I would go with black or chrome, chrome everyone will like even people that arnt into cars. Most of the time the only people that will like the black are car people. You can't beat a chrome rim on anything. I would get straight spoke and not to many because the spokes that come out like the ones you were looking at and the ones with alot of spokes, they look smaller. The straight thin spokes look the biggest if you want a rim that looks bigger. My neighbor has some that look like the ones you are getting and he is a size bigger than mine and people alway say mine look bigger. If you dont care about that then no biggy. Think about motege mr7 in gunmetal

i hate chrome wheels. i think the best for a black car is black with polished lip. check out the racing heart, i forget which site (ill post it later), they are black 8 spoke polished...ummm maybe forged rims. very nice. cost about $1700 for a set, maybe including kumho tires.

i personally am going to buy some falkens to put on my stock alloys. nothing beats that sleeper look.

chrome is evil.. I dont think of 240s as a bling bling car. its a sports car and chrome rims are always too heavy. If you want the shine go with polished but silver is easier to take car of and it looks fine. Black rims are good, but I like the looks of bronze rims the most

I'm going stock 5 blades off the S14's on my S13, it'll look stock to the "racers", but a true car enthusist will know i'm running 5 lugs, and big brakes

(getting the wheels and spindles and hubs this weekend!)

I don't see the DEAL with the bronze look especially on the damn WRX's, even though i saw some VolkRims on some Skylines that are Bronze but those look great on them cars... I say black with silver or chrome lip...

Whoa, bronze really does look good on black:) . thanks for the pic stee flo it really helps to have a visual aid. By the way are those the buddy clubs in hypergold or Kosei's because I was cosidering those rims for a while but couldn't find a good price for them. Man... do you guys ever get discouraged when you see a 240 that looks just the way you were planning on having yours look like:( thanks alot for the pic stee flo, you really lifted my spirits there. super advan sa3r in black with either the red lip or the baby blue lip. those are the wheels i plan on getting and nothing can compare to that hardcore style.

I just received these new Velox wheels

THEY are Hyper black, But I believe they look more like gunmetal. I have a black car, and it goes well with it too.
