Recommended oil is 5W-30 but 10W-30/40 can be used if ambient temp is over 0 degrees F. For as long as you change oil every 3-mo/3000 miles, any good quality 'dino' oil will do the job. From various oil analysis I've seen before, dino oil is typically good for 3000-5000 miles while synthetic oil from 5000-8000 miles. If you want to extend your OCI, better have an oil analysis from Blackstone (@$25)

Bear in mind that in the US, we have redefined the meaning of synthetic oil. Most of the 'synthetic's being sold in the market are actually blend of Group III (dino) and Group IV (synthetic). Most Mobil 1 Syn are actually synthetic blends, except for 0W-40. True synthetic oils are by Amsoil, German Castrol, Motul, Royal Purple, etc. It's amazing how some people will pay more for Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W-30 High-Mileage (blend) than a Mobil 1 Syn 0W-40 (true synthetic). You can check it out from your car parts store.

Using true synthetics, like Amsoil, means you can extend your change mileage as long as you do change the filter at the usual interval.
