A resistor that fools the intake air temperature sensor into thinking that the incoming air is colder than it really is. A waste of money, the IATS is actually not even used on our engines.

The 3.3 and 3.5 dont use the IAT sensor? Thats interesting...

I believe I read that in the FSM, I will verify sometime later.

I must be thinking of a different engine/vehicle. The sensor is used by our VQ35DE engine. However, the "performance chip" is still a waste of money and will not product advertised gains.
