what do the 2 names mean RPS13 and RHS13?

RPS13 = 94 & up 180sxRMS13 = 91-93 KA24DE 240sx HBRHS13 = 89-90 KA24E 240 HB

could be wrong though, please correct me if I am.

R = Hatchbackp = Sr20M = KA24DE

So RPS13 Means S13 Hatchback, SRmotor (180sx)A silvia would be a PS13

I have never heard of "H" if 240_Kevy is right than H stands for either the KA24E or the CA motor.

oh yes I am right, my chassis code on my '90 hatch states boldly "RHS13"

My friend's 91 hatch states "RMS13"

you is right about the P thing being SR though...

he his right about the RHS13 i have one myself, and as for The R it stands for Fastback not hatchback same thing i know but hatchbacks sound mroe suitble to a honda.

the back of the car is fast (cuz that's whar them weels wit power is at) therefore it is a Fastback.

Hatchbacks make me think of Omni's...

Hatchback makes me think of almost every 3 door car, i.e., eclipse, zx3, ef, eg, and ek civics, and gtis, i dont think of one in particular.

Never looked at a 240, I have a Silvia and a 180SX. Maybe the "m" and the "h" are for SOHC KA24 and DOHC KA24

Nissan S13 chassis codes

S13 in general refers to the '88-'94 chassis. This includes the coupe and the fastback.

'88-'90 S13 Silvia CA18DET '90-'91 RS13 180SX CA18DET (R for fastback) '91-'93 PS13 Silvia SR20DET (P for SR) '91-'98 RPS13 180SX SR20DET (no distinction between the two different minor model change, last minor change was the inclusion of the double round lights and a more squarish front bumper.)
