What does the S mean

I did use the search function, came up with nothing.Noob question...I know, or am pretty sure that the SE stands for Sport Edition on the 3.5 A/C. So, my question is what does the "S" stand for on the 2.5S A/C?

My first guesses where, Sport, Spicy, Slow or sporty spice! But that would be SS, like a Cobalt SS

SE doesnt have anything to do with speed. i mean, i've seen SE and SL that were exactly the same with older models, just the SL had alot of the SE's options as standard.... so idk. probably a way to distinguish them like someone else said

I swear the dealer told me SE stood for Sport Enthusiast and SL stood for Sport Luxury. Didn't tell me what the S stood for, but I guess Sport?

Trogdor Editon Coupe nice, but I think it'd fit the Titan.

S means S who cares

Titans come in XE, SE, LE....with X being the basic,

GT can mean Grand Touring or Gran Turismo, oh wait....

But I vote for S just as a marketing ploy

it's been said before but i'll beat the dead horse anyways, it's just to differentiate between trims. every car company has them, some say they actually mean something, but most don't. so short answer, S just means it's the base model, SE is the mid range and so on..
