What are the benefits of using S14 F3 plug as opposed to repinning R33 F3 Plug??

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Just wanted to know what the benefits of using the s14 f3 are. I am also trying to find the schematic for the F3 plug in the 240sx fsm... can anyone help me locate it (tell me what page) on http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/240sx/1996/ec.pdf

I'd greatly appreciate it.

other than wiring the F3 plug, i'll have to wire the Wiper plug and thats it correct?

the F3 doesn't have a schematic listing what every pin does. the 240sx fsm also has a big typo in the ordering of the pins, so the pin #s they reference in the EC section do not correspond to the picture of the f3 plug in the back of the fsm.

you basically just need to wire the F3, wiper, abs if you have it, then lower harness and sub harness

So basically what would be the best method of determining which wires go to what if the schematic is wrong? What did you do? Multimeter? Educated guessing? trial and error?

Also I've been looking through both FSMS and i cannot find the M63 plug schematic Anywhere...

Thanks for your response by the way.

the ordering of the pins is incorrect in the picture of the F3 plug at the back of the FSM. you need to figure out the correct order based on wire colors and pin numbers from the EC section. it's pretty easy. just need to check a few wire colors and confirm them.

I understand that, But I can't even find the F3 plug or M63 Plug foldout in

http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/rb...l.pdf

and for the S14 i found the plug in http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/240sx/1996/foldout.pdf but which wires #s correspond to it? the same listed for the main ECCS plug in the EC section of the FSM??

I'm not asking you to hold my hand, but if u can just point me to every section of each FSM (including plug numbering schematic and number descriptions) i need to lookout, i can stop asking questions. Sorry I'm a newbie at this..

Thanks

Are you trying to recreate the wheel? There are (or were) wiring guides out there for you to reference. I'll e-mail you both the S1 and S2 wiring guides. Use the S1 for wiper reference and the S2 for the engine harness.
