I have a 2007 Infiniti G35x. Whenever it rains there is water dripping onto the floor in the front passenger side of the car. It must be coming from somewhere on the exterior front of the car hood area around the windshield. I have taken it in and they can't find the source of the water leak. Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so any what is the cause/solution?

Try taking it to a auto glass place that replaces windshields and ask to have them replace the rubber seal and closely examine the channel that the windshield sits in.
Who does your Infiniti dealer recommend for glass replacement?

Good luck

Go to a wand-based car wash and spray water around the windshields to see if it's coming in that way.

Open the hood and remove the plastic battery compartment cover. There are three things to look for here. First, there is a large wire harness inside a rubber sleeve. Make sure there are no holes in the rubber sleeve, such as from power wire added for a car audio amp. That was my problem and some silicone fixed it.

Next, look for water coming in through the fresh air vent.

Third, look for any other places water could enter.

If all else fails, you might have a clogged AC drain hose. The hose is under the car near the right front wheel. You may be able to check it and clean it.
