Was gonna powdercoat valve cover but not sure what this is

For all the ones out there who have powdercoated their valve cover did you have any problems with this? I cant find it in the FSM. Dont know what its for or what temp the silicone/sealant is good for. Will be baked at 400 degrees if still powder coated. Rather PC it for higher quality finish over painting.

I honestly have no idea... NOTHING plugs into it... I had a friend powder coat mine... I just called him to confirm, and he says he did bake it...

It's just part of the baffle and vent of the cover, just leave it alone and it'll be fine.

I looked at the cover earlier today and I thought it might be a vent of somekind. Thanks.

I've powdercoated a few valve covers now, and that little drain was never harmed. You'll be fine.

That's what I use, just my old electric oven. I wouldn't use a food prep oven that you still cook food in though, the plastic is hard to clean out. lol

Edit:
Oh, and never use a gas oven for powder coat.
