So I thought it might be good to start a list of parts, part numbers, companies, and where/who you can get them all from. I will try to keep this up to date as much as possible. If anyone has any items or thoughts just post up and I'lladd them to the thread. When I have some time I'll also add images as possible.

Wes: If you want to make this a Sticky it might help.

Engine mounts:

Mazworx - http://www.mazworx.com/products/vhvg-into-schassis/
They come with a durable powdercoat black finish and urethane motor mount inserts.
$399

Xcessive - http://www.xcessivemanufacturing.com/ON ... =4&pid=196
These mounts are designed to be run as solid mounts, the VH is a smooth running motor and a tight fit into the S chassis, so flexy rubber mounts may not be such a good idea.
$455 comes with Driveshaft

SpeedEast - http://www.speedeastauto.com/groupbuys.html
New batch will be sleaker, lighter, and more functional for fit with various aftermarket transmission crossmembers. New batch will be available in Gloss Black, Satin Black, and Silver powdercoat. Other colors will be available upon request but at an additional charge
Starting at $199

Kisuu - http://www.kisuu-usa.com/
These are solid mounts using a 3 leged steel construction. They are powered coated in Black or Gold. They sit the engine lower than most others on the market which allows for the hood to sit lower with less modifiaction required.
$299

SR-240 (281-734-4389) http://www.v8nissans.com/forums/showthr ... 4#post7484
This person is not a professional or shop but does good work and is another option for those wanting th VH in a 240. Best motor mounts sold for the vh swap by me powdercoated. These have powdercoat black finish and use urethane motor mount inserts
$175

Header Options:

Mazworx - http://www.mazworx.com/product/vhvg-int ... ers-s13s14
These headers are for the VH45DE swap into an S13/S14 chassis. The stock manifolds on the VH do not clear the frame rails or steering column. So using these headers clears them and also gives you more power with the header construction. They come as a pair and the have a high-temp silver/chrome coating. Some clearancing required and designed for our motor/trans mounts.
$895

Kisuu - http://www.kisuu-usa.com/
The guys at Kisuu are working on 2 sets of headers: A shorty Style and Long tube headers They are meant to be released in April/may

Xcessive - http://www.xcessivemanufacturing.com
Rich and the guys at Xcessive are working on some shorty style headers but don't have a release date as yet.

SR-240 (281-734-4389) http://www.v8nissans.com/forums/showthr ... 4#post7484
He has a good set of headers which are at a decent cost. Un can supply your own flange or he can supply them for additional cost.
$600/$720

DIY headers
You can buy flanges to make your own headers. The companies below offer them. Ad for tubing your options are endless and don't need to be covered here. The main point to notice is that the mazwork ones have a 1.75" wide openign for the tubing to be welded to. The VH45 would be best suited using 1.75" piping to macth the outlet size.

Mazworx - $100 set
Xcessive - $120 set
Kisuu - $90 set - Release date April
Driftbuild sells all of these

Transmission Adapters:
There are several options for the transimmsion but the most common is the VG transmission from the 300zx. All the options below are good for mating the two together and it is up to your own opinion/research as to which one to use. If you do some searching other performance stores sell these items cheaper than the companies direct.

Mazworx - http://www.mazworx.com/product/vhvg-int ... vg-adapter
This is the transmission adapter plate to bolt a VG transmission to your VH45 engine. This only comes with the plate and the hardware to bolt the plate to the block and transmission to the plate. This one requires you to machine your bell housing.
$400

Xcessive - http://www.xcessivemanufacturing.com/ON ... =4&pid=195
The adapters are machined from billet 6061 T6 aluminum and comes with all the hardware needed to bolt the VG transmission and flywheel to the VH block. The flywheel pilot on the crankshaft does require a modification to allow the flywheel spacer to seat properly, this can be done with the crankshaft in the block
$418

Kisuu - http://www.kisuu-usa.com/
This comes with the plate and the hardware to bolt the plate to the block and transmission to the plate. This one requires you to machine your bell housing. This comes anodized in the custom 'Gold' color that Kisuu is known for.
$275

Wes - vh45-to-vg30-adapter-plates-now-available-t500431.html
The plate is a 1/4 in piece of A36 structural steel. Instead of having counter-bored bolts, machining bellhousings or using thick spacers, The plate has 90° countersinks on both sides. The plate is mounted to the engine using the top 4 bolts that are counter-sunk using M10 bolts. On the other side, studs are welded into the plate (actually M10 countersunk screws that are welded in place), so that once the plate is in place on the engine, the transmission simply slides over the studs and lines up perfectly. Provisions for the starter are made, however one has to cut a small piece off the block where the Q45 starter mounted.
$275

Transmission shifter and mount options
With the VG transmission you will need a shifter adapter or you will need to modify it in some way. many people mod their own but a couple ones are out there for purchase.

Mazworx - http://www.mazworx.com/product/vhvg-int ... dapter-kit
On their website it only shows it as a kit but you can contact them and buy the parts indivdually.
$Call

Xcessive - http://www.xcessivemanufacturing.com/ON ... =4&pid=111
Short Length:
Our shortened VG shifter bracket is designed for swaps where the shifter needs to be as far forward as possible. If your putting a VG trans in your 240, this bracket and shifter connecting rod allows you to use the stock center console and shift boot and requires no cutting of the transmission shifter tunnel.
$147.50

Standard Length:
The Full Length VG shifter bracket is designed for swaps where you need a stand alone shifter bracket instead of the body mounted stock 300Z design. We've designed this bracket to use the stock shifter connecting rod on the rear of the transmission. You can also use a stock VG shifter with minor mods or any performance shifter.
$98.50

Kisuu - http://www.kisuu-usa.com/
Kisuu is in the middle of production of these and will be released in the coming months. - April

Internals
I will give a brief over view with part numbers for some of the internal and bolt upgrades you can do to the VH45.

Pistons:
There are a couple options for Pistons.
CP pistons are really nice but very expensive. Mazworx sells them for $1200 a set but they can be found cheaper through other sites.

Aftermarket OEM replacements - These are getting harder to come by these days but Driftbuild often has a few sets in stock. They are usually are only sold in sets with Safety Products Pistons and Hastings Piston rings and cost about $640 shipped. Pistons alone are $398

Piston rings
These too have been getting harder to find so jump on them when you can.
Driftbuild has some Hasting Rings in stock or can get ones. Rings alone cost $294

Valve Springs:
There are several options out there for Vavle Springs. The most common large upgrade is Supertech vavle springs. Mazworx sells these with titanium retainers but they are pricey. They can be found cheaper else where.

Head bolts:
These are highly recommended for thos eguys who are going to be boucing off redline or who are boosting.
ARP 202-4303 - You will need 2 sets as these are usually for a 4cyl. But they fit perfectly

Rod Bolts:
Rod botls are a highly recommended upgrade as a common issue on the VH45 is spun bearings. These are a cheap upgrade and can save you time and money.
ARP 202-6005 - Again you will need 2 sets

Flywheel bolts:
ARP 151-2801 - You will need 2 sets. They come with 6 to a pack and you need 8 so you will have 4 left over. Driftbuild does sell them in sets of 8 though so check them out for more info.

Bearings:
If doing a full build you will need the following bearings.
Rod Bearings
Main bearings
Thrust washers
These items have been hard to come by so the best options are top contact dealers or see if people online have them for sale. Driftbuild often has sets for sale but they go quick. They are usually sold as a set with all of them included and cost $187

Would also like to state that Xcessive claims they have found a pulley that will work so you dont have to cut your frame for the power steering. Its actually a KA24DE pulley. the belt im going to measure but my friend is doing this swap as we speak and said it fits. He is going to measure and run to advance auto to see what belt works. That saves $155. Sorry Xcessive lol

Thats the plan. When i get a bunch more parts and such listed, along with all the pics, then I will start the list of 'required' swap items and other important info too. That way it can be a one stop resource.

JWT is the first to do it. they are supposed to have an adapter to fit the VQ transmission to the VG, KA, VH, and VK... but you need an automatic transmission bellhousing in order to use the adapter..

really, 6 gears are not needed, its just a luxury item. If you want higher RPMS, buy a shorter differential... 4.08 / 4.11, etc etc.. if you want to have lower cruising rpms, get a lower diff, 3.56 3.9, etc etc..

I agree with the above..... ll of it.

JWT makes great stuff and i recommend them.

I never never come across a VH that would need a 6spd. It is different but is it worth the extra cost??

OR just get a 6-speed...

Plus, there really was no extra cost. I had this transmission sitting around for my vq37 swap, so when that fell through it was ready for the vh45.

ACTUALLY, it was cheaper if I add it all up. Got the z33 transmission for $500 which is about what I would find a z32 transmission for. AND it only cost me $150 to get the q45 transmission flange welded onto the z33 transmission (not counting about 4hrs of prep/cut work). What is the Mazworx adpt plate, $300-400 PLUS I would have had to get the transmission housing shaved AND I would have needed the z32 starter. So, NAH, I'm good with the 6-speed.
