The car's very corroded underneath & after the bolts are removed it still will not release is there a certain gear the car needs to be in to disengage. There's no info. on Google as it appears it rarely ever fails lol, mine's going out intermittently .

Not the wheel sensor, the one on the tranny on a 1996.

I'm assuming you've tried PB Blaster or WD-40? If that didn't work, can you get a torch on it without melting anything else?

use acetone mixed with dex/merc ATF fluid 1:1 ratio, ur not gonna find a better penetrating fluid out their, and use old oil can or some thing similar so the acetone doesn't evaporate

Part removed to discover the speedometer gear was disintegrated so the hunt is now on for that, nightmares lol.
